We Are Our Avatars IX: Act V: The Sabotage of the Scandolous Saurian Scoundrels (Open)

[Chungus]

With Doom Guy walking out of the kitchen, Caius glanced at him and considdered asking him questions instead of Roland who hadn't come back out, but decided against it, thinking Doom Guy probably wouldn't be all that forthcoming in his agitated state. Instead, he walked back to the kitchen, Yeul following.

In the kitchen, Caius glanced at the pool of green blood, but didn't think much of it or where it came from, instead approaching Roland. "Barring more interuptions, would you answer my questions?"

Yeu looked at the green blood for a moment longer, then shuddered lightly. She looked to Henry, seeing the shot wound in his stomach and wondering how he was able to stand and wasn't bleeding out. She had thought about asking him if he needed help, but decided to keep quiet, seeing that didn't seem to be the case.

 

[Demonjazz]

Doom Guy was sitting outside the kitchen, mostly waiting for Henry and everyone to get out of it. "I can still hear you guys!"

 

[FPSfanatic]

Henry gently patted his stomach, and the wound there. "I uh... I suppose I'll be avoiding heavy foods for a bit then." he said, his voice sounding almost human.

"Yes." Roland replied.

 

[Knife-28]

During the entire...incident Knife had remained in his seat, silent. After Doom Guy left, he spoke up. "You're a Yautja, aren't you?" He asked, addressing Henry.

 

[Chungus]

"Do you have knowledge of what transported you this world?" Caius began asking.

Yeul walked to a seat, and sat down. She looked to the doorway of the kitchen when Doom Guy called out outside it, wondering if he would wait there the entire time.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Henry looked to Knife. "Uh... yes. I'm surprised you recognized my species. It has been some time since I was near someone who would."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Ah shit!"

Vicky cursed under her breath as she noticed Hans fall over. She opened the door and shouted down the hallway,

"Man down! Need some help over here!"

As she waited for a response, she crawled over to Hans and started checking him for wounds.

 

[Knife-28]

"Well your size sorta threw me off, and it's been a while since I've seen one of you guys myself." Knife said, "Plus the last group of Yautja I met didn't have quite the same grasp of the english language as you do mate."

 

[Chungus]

Prior to Henry entering the kitchen, Sophia had finished her meal and left to find a more private spot to work on her statueette of Victoria. Her sensitive ears were still ringing from the reverb-amplified gunshot that rang out, but could still hear Victoria call out.

Stowing her statueette away in her bag, she stood up and made her way to the general direction where she heard Victoria call out from. "Victoria? Where are you?!" She asked with ugenrcy.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Hans gasped for air. "Leg- My leg." he muttered, face now as white as a sheet. He took a few shuddering breaths, then stretched himself out to be more carefully examined, whimpering as he did so.

With Hans holding as still as he was and presenting his wounds, a number of scars would be apparent, as well as a strange bulge in his left leg. Vicky would probably notice, after a moment of investigation, that the bone was broken.

Henry, about to comment to Knife, turned to Alain after hearing Victoria's cry. "We should go. now."

Hearing Vicky call out helped bring Alain back to his senses a bit and he ran out into the hallway, leaving his hammer behind in the kitchen.

"A door brought me here." Roland answered Caius.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Over here! Just down the hall!"

Vicky shouted back upon hearing a reply. She cursed under her breath and went back to examining Hans. Vicky wasn't the most well versed at first aid, but she still managed to identify that the most noticeable problem was Hans' leg, after a bit of prodding. Ah Hell, nothing I can do about that...

Alain found Vicky and Hans in the hallway, and stopped a few feet away from them. "What happened to him?" He asked.

 

[Chungus]

Hearing Victoria call out, Yeul looked up to Caius. "Should we see if we can be of help?" she asked him in a neutral tone, not appearing very alarmed. Caius responded by shaking his head, glancing down to Yeul afterwards.

"Whatever may be amiss, there would be no thing we could do about it."

Yeul blew a soft sigh, then looked towards the doorway, watching Alain and Henry head through.

"A door?" Caius repeatedto Roland after speaking to Yeul, looking back to you. "You would have to be more speciffic. This tells me nothing."

Down the hall... down the hall... Sophia thought to herself as she heard Victoria, looking around while walking at a brisk pace. There! Seeing where she needed to go, Sophia began to run, seeing Alain reach it before she did. Slowing down, she entered the room after him.

She looked to Victoria, then to Hans, the fact that he was vissibly in pain enough to put her over the fact that he was almost naked. She would've asked what was wrong, but refrained from doing so when Alain did it for her. Instead, she moved to Hans and crouched down besides him, looking him over more carefully. "S-something with the leg?" She asked nervously upon seeing the buldge and discolouration around it,.

"I was walking along a coastline, nearly dead from injuries I had sustained. I came across a wooden door, standing upright in the sand. I opened it and walked through to this world." Roland said to Caius.

 

[Drakmorg]

"I-I don't know what all exactly happened to him..."

Vicky dourly replied to Alain.

"But I think there's something wrong with his leg, yeah."

She added. She scooted away from Hans to give Sophia and Alain more space to work.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Hans looked to all those gathered, and tensed, remembering how first aid went back on Krieg.

With all the people gathered, Henry hung back.

 

[Knife-28]

Knife followed Henry and Alain from the kitchen to the hallway where the injured man lay. As Alain said he was a healer, Knife hung back with Henry and watched, not wanting to get in anyone's way in the increasingly cramped hall.

 

[Chungus]

"I see... Was this a two-way door? And if so, where in this world would it be?" Caius asked next, both his eyebrows raising slightly and his eyes widening by a small margain, looking a bit more hopeful. He thought why Roland bothered going through a door in the sand, especially when near death, but didn't ask.

Yeul looked to her side, to Roland as she heard his response, now seeing his missing a finger. Upon seeing this, she cocked her head slightly.

"I could probably deal with that..." Sophia mused, finding Hans' leg was broken upon examining him more. Looking over her shoulder to the others in the hallway, she nervously asked, "U-unless anyone else would...?"
