<color=purple>"It seems like you have something in common with I and my sisters. The abilities that we can use were given to us by a third party, granted we experimented, and progressed on the knowledge required to use them. There's an old adage that says 'knowledge is power'. We take that phrase almost literally. While we didn't have a choice in having these powers, I don't mind having them. You just have to deal with what you're born with, much in the same way you have with your powers. What matters in the end are what choices you make."

"And our choices were to become scientists."

 

[Demonjazz]

"I apparently just got drafted into this group... Isn't that like against the law or something here?"

 

[username sucks]

"You can probably leave. I was thinking of leaving before you showed up. I'm new here too."

 

[Chungus]

"While I do wish things would not be as they are, I am content with the choices I have made. I have no regreds, on that front." Yeul stated, then paused for a moment to indicate a change in subject. "I wonder, however, from where do your powers come? From what I have gathered, they are varied."

 

[Demonjazz]

"Well I don't really have anywhere to go. I kind of spent the last couple of years in this fantasy place and I don't where, or when I am. I'm kind of stuck at the moment."

 

[username sucks]

"Yeah, same for me. About not having anywhere to go, at least. But it's expected of everyone to be some great warrior or something here, and I don't exactly fit in anymore."

 

[Demonjazz]

"I wouldn't know how that feels. I'm pretty renowned as a great warrior where I'm from! There was this one time that I fought on like fifty skel-AHH!" He screamed as he leaned back too far in his chair and fell out of it. Struggling to get up in his heavy armour.

 

[username sucks]

Alain was only able to resis for a few seconds before he was laughing uncontrollably, almost falling on the floor as well. He eventually calmed himself, still chuckling a little bit. "Huh. Yeah, a great warrior falling out of his chair and charging into battle with a stick!"

 

[Demonjazz]

"Oh shut up and help me up!" He said sounding rather indignant.

"Alright, alright." Alain said, offering his hand to help Eric up. "I'm Alain, by the way."

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"I see you've picked up on what we've been talking about earlier. One of the major sciences present in this world and my world is physics. And it studies the physical properties of the universe at various scales. According to the standard model of physics, there are four principle forces that govern the universe. There's the strong nuclear force which hold atomic nuclei together. Sara uses that force, but she's not present with us."

"There's the electromagnetic force that drives lightning and magnetic field lines. That's what I use."

<color=green>"There's the weak nuclear force, which controls the decay of atomic nuclei and a process called nuclear fusion. If you want to know more about the atom and its nuclei, I'll be more than happy to explain."

<color=purple>"And finally, there's gravity, which holds the planet's mass together as well as hold the planets orbit around the sun. And that's the force that I use."

 

[Demonjazz]

Eric got up with the help of Alain "I'm Eric the cavalier... So what's with the metal sign get up you're wearing. Bought your armour from a junkyard!" He said a mockingly and then laughing at his own joke.

 

[Chungus]

"It sounds as if between the four - or three of you, as it is presently - you can accomplish a great many things." Yeul stated after the sisters finished explaining their powers, looking to each as the spoke. "I can imagine what one might accomplish with control over gravity, or electromagnetic force, but what might one do with either of the other two things mention?" She asked, looking between the sisters again.

"Cavalier huh? So you rode horses so you could hit the enemy with that stick? Oh, and I made this armor, so it's going to be like my symbol when I'm famous for saving the world. For now the runes I put on it can do some cool stuff."

 

[Demonjazz]

"Actually I mostly just used this magical shield. Cause the Dungeon Master didn't want to give me an actual weapon so I'm stuck with a stick! Oh yeah. That metal armour scrounged from some wasteland will be such a memorable symbol."

 

[username sucks]

"Yeah I know, this armor is pretty awesome. Oh, you haven't even seen my weapon yet, let me go get it!" Alain said, walking into the hallway to grab his hammer from where he left it on the floor. He returned shortly after, carrying his weapon. "Well, what do you think?"

 

[Demonjazz]

"I've seen better. It's not like it's some sort of magical hammer or anything."

 

[username sucks]

A large grin spread across Alain's face at Eric's comment. "Yeah, you're right. Here, why don't you try using it? It should be better than your stick." He suggested, holding out the hammer for Eric.

OOC: The rune on the pommel of the hammer is always glowing a faint silver color while Alain is holding it.

 

[Demonjazz]

Eric wasn't very observant and didn't notice the rune. "Would rather have a sword but whatever. He said tossing aside the stick and picking up the hammer.

As soon as Alain let go of the hammer, the rune would stop glowing and Eric would find that the hammer easily weighed over 1000 pounds.
