Proditus uttered a single harsh bark of laughter.
"Eliphas the Inheritor?! A 'primary leader of Chaos? No. He is a young, unsubtle upstart. An Apostle, as I am, but he is not worthy of the title. His every action ends in a bloodbath. An Apostle of real skill can subvert a planetary government and take it from the damned Imperium through words alone, and if necessary, can empower the natives to fight off their enslavers. Not Eliphas though. He was not there when my brothers and I followed our blessed Primarchs into revolution. He has no interest in the Long War. Only in what he personally can gain from the Gods. As a worshipper of Khorne, he would sacrifice entire worlds for his own immortality." He spat vehemently on the ground, where his saliva caused the pavement to bubble and hiss. "A worthless, myopic fool. As to the commoners... that is strange. Not his usual method as I understand it. Certainly it fits with his quest for personal glory that he would want seize control of them using the Warp rather than simply spread the word against the Emperor, but that he was capable of it... yes, that seems strange."

 

[Chungus]

Entering Dave's ship, "Silence" began looking around, moved through the ship without a destination in mind, looking over the interior. Every so often, they stopped walking to look over a certain thing in the ship more thoroughly.

From the moment they entered the ship, however, "Silence" filmed whatever they were looking at. They captured the footage with microscopic equipment integrated within the faceplate, rather then a convetional camera.

Gwen processed the information given by Proditus, her arms still crossed. <color=purple>"Hmmm. You tell an interesting story that we wouldn't hear from anyone else. On the one hand, I and my sisters don't entirely know everything about you and your faction or your universe. But on the other hand we've seen what part of your faction is capable of, leaving a terrible impression. Words can only tell so much, and actions speak louder than them. So I ask you this, does our skepticism make sense? Do you understand?"

False-Emperor, this girl would have me play a long game indeed, if I am to make any use of them.
Proditus stroked his broad chin with his more smaller, more dextrous gauntlet.
"Your sister must have remarkable mettle to have lived through what she saw. The powers of the Warp in the wrong hands can be disturbing, even destructive to the mortal mind. That you fear Chaos is only natural. But indeed, it is true that you know little about it as a larger whole. It can be terrifying, but it can also be glorious. And I do not pretend for a moment to be virtuous as you might judge virtue. But your friend Hans forgets that if I am the devil that he has been led to believe, I and my brothers were created by the same being that he venerates as a 'God'. The same being that the Imperium uses as an icon to blind their slaves to all else that exists in the galaxy. And the same being that I have fought with every breath, ever since we were forsaken. My estranged father does not hold sway on this world, though he will one day take it as his seat through force of arms, and crown himself the Master of Mankind. In truth, I do not know how to react to being here."

<color=purple>"I and my sisters have been through a lot. And we have surfed through Milky Way Galaxy, this galaxy that we call our home, in search of other intelligences to see what they can teach us. This world is young indeed, and many things will happen in between the time it is now and the time I come from. Now that you see us here, a mass of people that are from different universes, is it that you wish to join us in search of answers about this world?"

Proditus considered the question for a moment, and let his gaze drift over those people who were still outside.
"That would be wise, yes... I would very much like to see Terra as it was before the Emperor surfaced. Even without the way in which knowledge is twisted and mutated by war, much of humanity's history is lost to our time. This society far predates any confirmed knowledge of Terra's past. Yes, I think I will travel with you. I would learn of this world, and these people. In return, there is much that I can tell you of the Gods and their dominion in the Warp, should you wish to hear it." He glanced at the Valkyrie and gave a wry chuckle.
"Perhaps there are some here who need my wisdom more than others. Even in the days of the Great Crusade, I served my legion as a counsellor of spiritual and psychological wellbeing as much as I did a warrior."

 

[Slenn]

She cocked one eyebrow.
<color=purple>"Hmmm... sounds like an interesting offer. My sisters and I will convene to think about this. But for right now, it is late at night and many of our members are not active at the moment. What does everyone else think?" She turned to the others around her at the moment.

Joel decided to follow the weird robot guy, to make sure he didn't disturb Sophia or steal anything.

 

[Chungus]

Noticing being followed, "Silence" stopped looking around the ship and stopped searching around the ship, and turned to face Joel. With their left hand still on the pommel of their sword, "Silence" held their right hand out to their side, placed their left foot infront of the right, and leaned forward slightly. Finally, "Silence" cocked their head, looking questioning in their posture.

Although difficult to take notice off, Joel might see small, disc-shaped objects between the fingers of "Silence's" left hand, the objects small enough that they didn't stuck out between the fingers.

[color=003399]"There's people on the ship that are asleep. I'm just making sure you don't accidentally wake them."[/color] Joel explained, before sighing. [color=003399]"Can you write in English?"[/color]

 

[Chungus]

Assuming a normal posture again, "Silence" gave a nod in respose to Joel's question.

After a brief while of talking, the conversation with Victoria was discontinued. Standing up, Yeul big her goodbye, then walked out of the cockpit, Caius following behind her without saying anything. Walking down the hallway, the two spotted Joel talking to "Silence". "Who is this?" Yeul asked Joel as she approached him, stopping a few paces away. She looked to "Silence", then up to Joel.

Caius looked "Silence" over more carefully, wondering if "Silence" was a man, or machine, like he had wondered when first seeing Samus in armour. Like the rest in the group, he couldn't tell.

Joel shrugged. [color=003399]"We have no idea, really. Do either of you have a pen and paper or something?"[/color] he asked Yeul and Caius.

 

[Chungus]

"Silence" turned turned to Yeul and Caius as the two approached, and gave the two the same greeting as "Silence" has given Gwen and Joel. They noticed Caius scrutinising them, but didn't give much of a reaction other then acknowledging his pressence with their greeting.

Caius noticed "Silence" was holding something between their fingers, but couldn't tell what it was, and didn't bother to ask. When Joel spoke, Caius looked to him, and lightly shook his head. "No," he stated curtly.

"Neither do I," Yeul chimed in. "But I have seen a pen in the living area, I believe."

[color=003399]"Okay. Try to keep 'Silence' away from Sophia's room."[/color] Joel said as he went to get the pen.

 

[Chungus]

"I have been wondering, how is Sophia doing?" Yeul called out after Joel as he began to walk away, although she didn't raise her voice. "If she is in her room, she is resting, correct?"

Caius looked back to "Silence" after Joel began to walk away. Is that what they call you? An apt discription, I suppose.

"Silence" looked at Joel after he began walking away for a moment, then looked to Caius and Yeul, and gave them a lazy wave, before continuing to wander around the ship, filming its interior.

Joel returned with the pen and a pad. [color=003399]"She freaked out, but Hans stopped her running away and Samus put her in her room. So, I guess she's asleep."[/color] Joel explained as he walked over to "Silence" and handed them the pen and pad.

 

[Chungus]

"I see." Yeul responded after Joel returned, having remained where she was to do as he asked and keep an eye on "Silence", to see if they weren't going to Sophia's room.

"What is your take on the situation?" Caius spoke up, moving to a wall, and leaning against it, looking to Joel from there. "With her persuers, that is."

"Silence" didn't move far as Joel went to get the pen and notepad, having been moving at a leisurely pace. When Joel returned, "Silence" looked over their shoulder when they heard Joel's footsteps, and turned around. Being given the pen and notepad, they took it, discontinuing their recording for. "Silence" fumbled around with the pen for a moment, then began writing. They wrote fairly slowly, looking down to the pad as the wrote the entire time, and briefly stopping with writing whenever they wrote a single letter.

When they finally finished, "Silence" held out the pad to Joel, showing they had written; "What is it?" in fairly messy handwriting.

[color=003399]"Well, I haven't seen any signs that what they said was true. I'm thinking Vicky may have a point."[/color] Joel replied while "Silence" wrote. When "Silence" held out the pad, Joel looked at them and said, [color=003399]"I just gave you that in case you need to ask any of us anything. But, I guess I should ask; what should we call you?"[/color]

 

[Chungus]

"Silence" give a nod in response to Joel, then turned the notepad back to themself, and began writing the response to Joel's question, which went as slowly as before.

"You have also not seen any signs that would indicate they speak untruthfully," Caius stated. "If it were only simple ethnic cleansing of 'beastkin', or 'homine'. Whatever the species may be called - if it was that, why bother following Sophia here? Why that, instead of simply being content that she is no longer within the world she is native to? No, this has the air of a more personal vendetta about it," he continued, then paused.

"They may be exagerating the facts. They may be correct in their claims. Or not. Whatever the case, I would see this explored from all sides. I would not so casually dismiss a potential threat to the wellbeing of Yeul, on nothing more then trust for the accused."

"I did smell the chocolate odor the warrior mentioned, as did Victoria." Yeul chimed in after Caius finished speaking. "I am unsure of what to think of it, yet."

"Silence" was still writing as the conversation went on. At one time, they paused longer then normal after writing a letter, glancing to Joel, Caius and Yeul during this, although the position of their head didn't betray this. They resumed their recording, to record what was being said, then continued writing.

[color=003399]"It could be both. Maybe Sophia's being targeted, because people she associated with are opposed to things those knight guys do."[/color] Joel suggested. [color=003399]"I guess we should ask Sophia for her side of the story at some point."[/color]
