Joel decided it was best to board Dave's ship, as he would be more useful in a fight where his opponent didn't have an entire other dimension to move around in.

Samus stepped back, but not far enough to dodge the arrow's blast radius, sending her flying backwards. She landed hard, but picked herself up, and spammed shots at the archer to try and stop him from getting a clear shot.

Victoria sighed and placed her hand on Sophia's shoulder.
Code:
"I know it seems hard right now, but you're not gonna make good decisions if you're panicking. You need to at least try."
She stated with great severity.

EMily pulled back to Gwen after she got 'hit' by the magic on her hand. The pain in her hand was effectively nullified by endorphins and her ability to numb pain receptors through electrical pulses in her body. Gwen gave way after the well was being pushed through. Despite the damage the girls sustained, they got what they wanted.

"Your secrets are mine." EMily said, now zooming backwards behind Gwen and Winona with her light speed. She assumed a praying position in the air as she gathered the information with Photon to sort out the events that had transpired before Sophia arrived on this world.

<color=purple>"And you are not going to hit her." Gwen said as she produced a 1/2 time-slow field on the knight to allow EMily to concentrate on processing the information. Winona readied a muon beam in her hands as her third eye glowed ferociously.

"B-But I am trying!?" Sophia retorted back at her, still panicking. At least she wasn't trying to run, but she seemed to be unable to settle herself down.

[hr]

The knight with the sword dropped like a stone for a moment or two, the horse he had been riding had disappeared some time in between the gravity well forming and breaking. Before the knight hit the ground however, a burst of light came from underneath him as the horse reappeared, carrying him lower to the ground and coming in to flank Samus and Shara who were shooting at the archer.

At this point the archer had been building up another arrow, but couldn't get a good position to shoot towards Dave's ship with the two blocking his approach. The knight with the sword however raised his weapon aloft for a moment before unleashing another torrent of white fire towards Shara and Samus before ducking away and back up into the sky. The wave of flames would be noticeable enough to be able to get out of the way in time, but doing so would give the archer the clean shot he needed to fire more directly into the entrance way of the ship.

[hr]

EMily would learn about a bunch of things in a PM. :p

Joel made his way towards the sounds of Sophia panicking, retracting the blade on his left arm as he went. [color=003399]"Two of the knights are outside. One's firing arrows and the other has a sword. And, they're riding flying horses."[/color] he began, before realising that probably didn't sound like good news. [color=003399]"The others seem to be handling them, though."[/color]

Samus stood her ground, hoping she could tank the damage and continuing to harass the archer.

Shara dodged the flames.

Code:
"Well try harder then."
Victoria bluntly replied to Sophia.
Code:
"I'm not gonna leave your side during this, if that helps any."
She added, hoping that might have an effect in calming Sophia down.

She glanced over when she heard Joel approaching, standing at alert, but easing up when she saw who it was.
Code:
"Well, if the others can handle it, that's good news."
She commented.

She turned back to Sophia and said,
Code:
"For the time being though, let's find the safest place we can."
With the space-craft being relatively simple in layout, Victoria opted to simply lead Sophia to any room with a door.

OOC: @Zeph. I don't know if you understood the time-slow effect.

"Something is very wrong here..." EMily said as she saw the knights descend downward. "It's not an issue of race or ethnicity. It's an issue of religion."
<color=green>"Could you elaborate on that?"
"Let's get down to avoid the combat." And Gwen returned them to the surface a few meters away from the arrow shots.

"The data shows chocolate spikes and magic that were used to people who were ordered to kill these people called 'chocolate mages'. These people assigned to this cleansing were called the Order of Sanctity. But it's not exactly clear as to whether or not Sophia was one of people that were killing anyone. All I saw in that scene were dead bodies. I couldn't find any sharp images or memories where she was present. The only data I did find said she was the only 'chocolate mage' present at the time. It's possible that she did it, but there's also memories of the same knights wiping out the other chocolate mages. So the evidence that she killed someone with chocolate magic is vague at best."
<color=purple>"And what else?"

"Well, it does indeed show Sophia escaping through a portal of some kind as if it was intentional. But... something doesn't make any sense. The first time I saw her, she was in her skivvies with just a cloak. And when she explained how this happened, it was entirely an accident; she had tripped on something in a hotel room. And Sophia's claimed that this has happened before."
<color=purple>"Perhaps it was a forged memory."

"Maybe. But there's also details about the knights searching the grounds of the gateway. In any case, there's also details about a knife. Samus detailed me about the knife earlier. It said it spoke to her and kept repeating her name. In the knight's memory this knife was a treasure of her family. And she also stole food and clothing while on the run from these knights."
<color=purple>"So she stole the knife from her own family? How did the knights come across this information?"
<color=green>"It sounds like she was just trying to survive."

She looked over at the combat.
"Sad to say, but it's too late for words at this moment. Both of them speak with such conviction."
<color=purple>"That may be... But we have found that their conviction is not on solid grounds. And we must stop them before they end Sophia on vaguely proven charges."
The three of them nodded.

Gwen produce a time-haste field on Samus to double her reaction time.
Winona fired a piercing muon beam from her hands on the archer. It would have the same effect as a burning spear, but it ignores armor.
EMily produced a EM shield around them from the molecules in the air.

The task to stop panicking was rather daunting to say the least, who wouldn't be paranoid when a group of soldiers come from across a universe with the sole purpose of killing you dead, after they nearly managed to fail before. Victoria and Joel's company however made her able to think straight enough that she wasn't a total wreck but she was still rather uneasy.

[hr]

As the white fire quickly approached, Shara did well got get out of its way. As it flew and made contact with Samus the fire wave would explode, sending her off her feet and some distance. There would still be some flames that stuck with her, but they didn't seem to be able to get through her suit on their own.

While Samus and Shara's suppressing fire was halted, the archer lined up another shot, aiming to slam in through the loading bay of the craft. He however roared in pain as he was hit with the muon beam in the chest. The suddenness of the impact made him release the arrow prematurely and as it rocketed towards the ship's backside it would hit just to the left of the opening if it wasn't stopped.

Caius and Yeul continued to stand by and watch the battle, Caius doing so more attentively.

With Yeul not having her full attention on the battle, she took notice of Joel heading into the ship, and wondered what he was doing. She didn't think all that long on this, soon looking back to the fight.

"I want to get footage of this, but we can't deactivate our shrouds from this position without being noticed." Elm stated as it activated the engines of the jet-bike. "You take the helm, again. Take us to the roof of the building to the west, third from the street corner." It instructed, having Sam fly again to have him get better acquinted with how the jet-bike handled.

[color=edc393]"You're the boss."[/color] Sam responded dryly, with a small shrug. Rolling his shoulders once, Sam ran through the flight programs, then took hold of the helm and took off, moving at a leisurely pace to keep the level of noise the engine made down.

Making his way to the roof of the indicated building, Sam touched down, and got off of the bike, pressing a button on the right bracer, deactivating his cloaking device. Elm soon followed suit, deactivating the cloaking of the jet-bike as well. Now that it could see again, Elm began recording the battle between the group and the duo of knights.

You close your eyes and breathe out, focusing on the weaves surrounding you. As you did during training with XCOM, you split your focus between your two opponents and Samus. You open your eyes and aim your blaster squarely at the Archer. This time, you fire medium-power bolts at semi-automatic. The shots are well-aimed to go through the gaps in your opponents weave. The result of this is that you fire where the Archer is going, rather than where he is. Your split focus, though you cannot keep it up for long, also allows you to keep an eye on the other knight, and Samus. As you fire, you call out to Caius and Yeul to get aboard the Sworder over the alarm of battle.

OoC: Three minutes until takeoff.

Samus was thrown again. This time it took her a little longer to stand up, a few sparks running along her armour and her visor cracked. Headed back to the fight, cannon raised and waiting until she got close enough to get a clean hit on one of the knights.

With the archer already dealing with a 'spear' through the chest, he wouldn't get the opportunity to out maneuver Shara's shot. The knight would be knocked from his horse, the latter disappearing in a flash of light as the knight fell to the ground hard. He would tumble across the ground before finally coming to a stop in a crouching position, his helmet coming off in the process. [color=Samson the Clever]"Damn it..."[/color] He mumbled, obviously in serious pain.

The man was relatively young, perhaps in his late 20s early 30s, with a bald head, an overbite with his bottom jaw, and what seemed like pig ears where human ones should be. He looked over to where the arrow had landed, feeling disgraced that it hadn't hit its mark. Blood was starting to come from his mouth and under his plate, but still attempted to notch another arrow to shoot at Shara and Samus. The look in his eye like if he was going to go down now, the least he could do from his comrades was take another with him.

Shara would find that the other knight was quickly galloping in a circle to come to the front of Dave's ship, what he would do was a bit of a mystery, but he wasn't looking to try and attack them currently.

Hearing Shara call out to them, Yeul looked in her direction, Caius following suit. "I think she is calling out to us?" Yeul asked Caius questioningly as she glanced up towards him, unsure if Shara was indeed addressing Caius and herself over the comotion of the battle.

"It would appear so." Caius responded after a moment of looking Shara's body language over. Looking down to Yeul, he gave a nod. "I can only assume this 'Sworder' is the ship she was seen piloting. Make your way for it, I would see to your safe passage." He instructed Yeul drawing his sword again, and moving a few paces away from the tree and towards the Sworder.

Yeul gave a single nod in response, then began running towards the ship. Running with a limp, she wasn't paticularly fast. Seeing the archer being knocked to the ground and have his knocked off in the process, but then quickly moved on. This disproves the notion that these men are after Sophia on account of her not being human with finality.

[color=edc393]"You want me to get footage of this as well, here?"[/color] Sam asked Elm, looking towards the battle as he leaned against the jet-bike with his right elbow resting against the hull of the jet-bike, his left hand resting on the pommel of his sword.

"Yes. That way, one could film something the other has missed." Elm responded as it continued filming.

Sam only gave a nod in response. Moving to the edge of the rooftop, he sat down on the ledge, legs dangling over the edge. [color=edc393]"Begin recording. Zoom."[/color] He spoke into the microphone inside the helmet, triggering the functions with their corresponding voice commands. Sam wasn't sure what the point of recording the battle was, but he complied unquestioning, regardless.

You call out to Samus to take care of the other knight, before flicking your blaster to high-power and aiming at the archer. However, the killing blast clicked and you realise your blaster is out of ammo. You charge at the grounded knight, holstering your blaster and drawing your HF-machete at the same time. You feel that an attack will sent towards you soon, and you tense yourself to dodge.

Samus heard Shara call out. Letting her take care of the archer, she turned and opened fire on the other one, trying to pin him down as she closed in.

As Shara charged the knight, he held his ground, the arrow glowing brighter has he held it back. Shara was right, she was going to get an attack thrown at her, but not one as easy to out maneuver as an arrow. With a small grin, the arrow seemed to dim as the bow itself glowed brightly. The wave that Shara normally saw in front of her was a large large wave, essentially inescapable in size as the archer loosed the 'arrow'. Although the arrow was launched, the bow itself seemed to burst into a wide cone of hard light, making it feel like she'd run into a brick wall before being thrown back.

With the opening, the knight unhitched the mace from his side and with his other hand placed it onto his chest where the 'spear' had punctured. [color=Samson the Clever]"Your weapon out of magic?"[/color] He squealed at her.

[hr]

Samus would find her shots being blocked by the knight on horseback. Sir Brog having raised his shield seemed to bring up a barrier of sorts in between him and her suppressing fire. The horse continued to charge along until it was starting to get in front of one of the ship wings. [color=Brog the Kind]'I shall clip this metal bird's wings!'[/color] letting out a valiant roar as he headed for the right wing.

You find yourself unable to dodge, yet that does not mean you cannot dampen the blow. Still, as you struggle to your knees you feel a sharp pain in your chest and you wipe blood from your mouth. Your machete is gone, but you still have a few tricks up your sleeve. You say just that to the knight as you stand up. You pull a flash-grenade from your belt and toss it towards the knight, turning your back to him. With your eyes shut tight you reload your blaster as the impossibly bright flash goes off with a high-pitched bang that rings in your ears.
