"Eh, probably."
Vicky nonchalantly replied to Yeul. After Vicky finished wiping the blood off her forehead, Yeul would see that there didn't even appear to be a wound.

Meanwhile, in the Bounty Store

As the doors re-opened, a number of new bounties appeared. All the group members known to the bounty store now had a bounty, for conspiracy to commit assault and harbouring a fugitive. Each sheet noted that these crimes also applied to anyone traveling with the group. Sophia's bounty sheet would update accordingly, and a frowny face appeared on all the bounty sheets in the group's possession, with the words 'Running makes you look guilty' printed next to it.
If news of the knights' deaths reached the bounty store, two counts of murder would also be added to the group's bounties.

Joel cursed, and started looking for paper from the bounty store.

Seeing the lack of a wound where there should be one, Yeul rested her hands on her knees and leaned closer to Victoria to check if she was seeing things right. "So I see..." She said with a mildly puzzled expression on her face upon seeing that the wound was indeed no longer there.

"But you still may have suffered a concussion." She stated, rising back to her full but not very significant height. "Could you tell me how many fingers I am holding up?" She asked, holding out her left hand to Victoria, with her index and middle finger straightened.

You tell Caius that as long as nobody tracks your movements and you do not stay for long in any single place, you doubt a sufficient force could be assembled to meet you. On top of that, bounty hunters usually work alone, and only a fool would try to attack the group on their own.

"Two."
Vicky curtly replied as she stood back up. Before Yeul would get a chance to respond, Vicky immediately left the room and headed into the cargo bay.

EMily woke up from the conversation about the bounty store, feeling a bit more awake after a 30 minute nap. "I thought I told that faceless woman I needed evidence to show her. So she goes ahead and makes our posters tracking devices? We'll see about that." She got up and helped Joel search the premises.

"Possibly..." Caius began to respond, pausing to look over his shoulder to Joel leaving to search for the bounty poster. "Possibly this will work for the short term. But it may be that we will be barrad from percuring new fuel, and then that will leave us grounded. Bounty hunters may not attempt to apprehend us, initially, but the longer a time this goes on resolved, the larger the chances of that changing. This matter needs to be resolved post haste. I do not like the situation."

Especially since we are no bit closer to proving that girl's innocence or guilt, and now, we probably never shall.

Yeul frowned a little as Victoria left before she could ask more questions, and followed Victoria with her eyes. Seeing Victoria wasn't swaying about like she was drunk, however, Yeul figured Victoria was probably fine, and didn't go after her, instead moving to Caius' side.

After informing the watchpost, Elm closed to transmission and retracted the antenna. "I'll be starting the jet engine, now. Fasten your seatbelt." It informed Sam.

Sam went to sit upright, then went to buckle up, having a fair bit of trouble with this, with only one arm. "Done." He stated once he managed it after roughly a minute of trying.

With Sam buckled up, Elm had the jet-bike's namesake engine fire up, proppelling it forwards at Mach 3. Once it began catching up to the ships, Elm engaged the cloaking device when 8 kilometers away. When four kilometers away, it maintained the distance, not moving closer.

You say that there is a safe harbour you can head to, if absolutely necessary. You also tell him that if he wants to solve this problem, he might want to try to find a solution instead of complaining to you. Before he has a chance to respond, you cut communications. Grumbling under your breath, you begin the process of contacting XCOM. Putting on a headset, you give them a quick status report, and after a few minutes they give you a reply. They tell you that your continued mission is to protect Sophia from the knights, and that the bounty shop issue will be dealt with.

Caius opened his mouth, about to respond to Shara, when the transmission was cut. He groaned softly, clenching his free hand, then rose to his full height. Looking down to Dave, Caius asked, "What is out itinerary? Where are we headed?"

"All I heard is that we are going to that American place.... I believe New York or Colardo. I decided Colardo since it's not as highly populated."

After managing to track down all the bounty store sheets he could find, Joel brought them to the rest of the group. "They sheets are telling us that running makes us look guilty. And there's a frowny face drawn on them all." he said, showing the others.

"How should we dispose of them? Do you think the bounty store has any countermeasures on these things?"

"How much longer is it until we arive there?" Caius questioned. He thought for a moment that going to the place where the knights were last seen would increase the chance of them running into the group, but decided this would be unlikely, as the knight would probably have left for the UK already.

When Joel entered the cockpit again and anounced what he did, Yeul turned to face him. "What proof have we that past and recent actions are just? We may be able to clear the names of those who perpetrated whatever crimes they are charged of?"

Yeul glanced to EMily as she spoke, but didn't respond, already being in conversation with Joel.

"Well, EMily did something to get proof from the knights, during that fight. Maybe we could risk visiting a bounty store, and trying to clear Sophia's name. That would probably clear our names, too." Joel replied. Upon hearing EMily, Joel tried tearing a sheet in half. After a few seconds, an incredible amount of nothing happened.

Yeul opened her mouth, about to respond to Joel, but paused as he tore the bounty poster in half. "After destroying the bounty poster, would this be a wise course of action?" She questioned. "If they had us under suspision, then surely they would do so doubly, now? Although perhaps if the evidence is compelling enough..."

Looking to EMily, she asked, "What did you manage to gather?"

"Well, darn. I was gonna try lighting it on fire with a spark." She sighed. "If we can't destroy them, we'll just toss them away in a garbage dump. Or put them in another misleading place."

If anyone was looking at the bounty poster halves, they would see the words 'Why did you do that?' writing themselves on both parts.

"I had gathered a lot of things. I'll show you the memories of the knights." She summoned Photon, and within a few seconds it was displaying the footage of their memories.

They would see that the knight hadn't lied about his talk of the Order of Sanctity being massacred. They would get very clear images of men, women and children killed by obvious spikes, blades, and boulders of chocolate, as well as various other methods. From these it wouldn't be clear specifically that Sophia was the one who had done it, but her(EMily's) digging would show that Sophia was the only known chocolate mage at the time. The knights had hunted down other chocolate mages in the past, killing them before they could form an army to try to restart the war that had happened 100 years ago in Sophia's home world.

They'd also see the knights charging a field after a woman in a cloak, her face turning at the last moment to reveal a Sophia that looked as she did in the bounty poster. She however disappeared into a portal that appeared below her. After some investigating, she'd see they'd found what was called a gatestone, a little marble looking rock with runes on it. They were uncommon to find, but on occasion one would stumble across them, the stone requiring a large amount of mana to power it normal.

They had sent an errand boy to bring the stone back to the main order to see where she'd gone with it, the knights still in the fields searching. When they returned they found the place completely destroyed, with the gatestone partially destroyed with several cracks in it. It however was also locked on the last place it was used, and the knights followed to seek out Sophia, realizing how much of a threat she must have posed.

As for the theft charge, it was the dagger that Sophia had with her a treasure of the Aethis family back from the war, coupled with other things she stole to survive like food and clothing in the week she'd been hunted by the knights.

In his mind, there was no question Sophia was guilty as hell and needed to be killed for the good of all.

"While there's no direct evidence of a murder, the knight certainly has enough to think that she's the one responsible. However, I can only say that the only crime this may get her off of is the murders. As it stands, the knight's evidence that she committed the murders is questionable. As there is no direct linking of her to a murder of these knights. Of course she was the only known chocolate mage at the time, and the knights were killed with chocolate magic. But there's a phrase in science: 'correlation is not causation.' I need more than just 'only chocolate mage known' from these knights to accuse her of this crime. And I also need to get some more solid evidence for myself."

"Isn't there also the phrase 'Occam's Razor', where the fewer assumptions a hypothesis is based on, the better?" Joel pointed out. "I still doubt Sophia did kill those people, but I think the knights would want evidence of other chocolate mages that could have killed them, just as much as you want evidence Sophia did it."
