Detective Stone would eventually see Sophia walking back with a bunch of wood with her, a bunch of sticks and twigs and some more meaty sized pieces as well. "Oh, hello Mister Stone." Sophia called out to him when she drew nearer. "How are you doing?"

"We all go to Drangleic eventually." Joanna said. "Most undead are cast out by those who knew them long before turning hollow, but even if we manage to keep it quiet... the place draws us. They say there's a way to lift the curse there. I don't know if it's true. For all the time that I was there, I only ever saw the hollows. The remains of all the undead to failed to recover their humanity, and were consumed by that terrible place."

Carrying wood. Always Hated it. My parents had a winter cottage. Would make me go down everyday and carry the wood for their fire. I actually liked the cold up there too. The cold never really bothered me anyway
"Good as I can be at the moment... What are you making that fire for?"

After an amazing adventure finding a bunch of rocks which was super fun and interesting, Matilda and Steve returned to the ship. They would arrive back around the same time as Sophia.

The sisters were sitting with Joanna if Sophia was looking for them.

"Oh, yes." Sophia replied back as she looked at the wood she was carrying. "Joanna, that woman that showed up today, she was in some pretty rough shape. She said having a campfire of sorts would make her feel more at ease, so while she's getting food from the Mason sisters I said I'd try to get a fire ready for her."

Once Sophia was near enough to the hole she placed all the wood neatly to the side and started to snap some of the larger branches into more reasonable pieces. "You wouldn't happen to have seen Sara around? She's probably inside but I wanted to talk with her." She looked up as she addressed him before grabbing another branch to snap.

"Hmm?" Sophia tilted her head to see the arriving Steve and Matilda. "Oh you made it back already, great!" She seemed pleased.

Matilda walked over to Sophia and put down the rocks she was carrying nearby. "Yeah. How did you do?" Matilda asked, sitting down out of the way but still close to Sophia.

"Well..." She said as she snapped a larger branch. "I got a bunch of twigs and stuff. *Snap* And now I'm working on this branch I found that had fallen off a tree. *Snap* So pretty good actually! Thanks for getting those rocks you two, definitely saved me some time." She smiled up at the two of them. Steve would be able to notice her longer fangs, ferret mask, and tail if he hadn't already.

Steve deposited a large armful of wave-rounded stones close to the fire pit, ranging from fist sized to the size of a grapefruit.
"Yep. Nothing too strenuous about a walk on the beach." He replied to Sophia.

Joanna scratched at the surface of the table absently as she thought over her predicament.
"All I can do is try to keep going for now. Until I can return to Drangleic at least. As long as I am here, perhaps I will be at less risk of being overwhelmed by the hollows. I will... simply have to think of a way to keep myself stable."

Ah, fire. The universal cleanser. Some say that it clears the mind and makes them feel at ease. Me, I can't stand fire. Too destructive, too uncontrolled. We're a foolish race to try and control it. The only fire I trust is at the end of a match. I lit up another cigarette and threw the match in the fire pit.
"That seems like an odd thing to do for the woman. And no, I haven't seen the maids lately."

<color=brown>"Oh! I forgot, I needed to help Sophia with her swimwear. I'll be right back."
Sara went off to find Sophia near the fireplace.

"Still, I appreciate it regardless." Sophia answered back to Steve and Matilda. Once she'd listened to Mr. Stone's talk, she shook her head. "It might be, but Joanna looked like she was really roughed up. So if there's something as simple as making a small fire to make her feel better, I'd be happy to try to help her out. And don't worry, I'm sure they're just inside the ship at the moment."

When Sara approached Sophia and Matilda, she may also spot the mark on Matilda's back, just above her swimsuit between her shoulders.

"Strange that she'd be so insecure." Steve replied to Sophia. "A fire might be useful if you have to make camp in the wilderness with potential predators around, but during the war, we had to avoid it in order to keep from drawing enemy attention. What kind of place could she have come from that she would want a fire so desperately?"

<color=brown>"Hello, Sophia. Do you have your swimwear with you? I can work on it while you get your fire ready."

<color=brown>"Oh, Matilda! You have a birth mark?"
