Samus, not seeing Chloe, went to ground again. Seeing Joanna, after her little escaped with the plants so the undead girl could leave with dignity intact, she headed over. "Did you spot where she went?" she asked.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

Faro would be unable to locate Chloe with his third eye.

 

[Random berk]

"Not a glimpse." Joanna groaned, retrieving her knife and stuffing it back up her sleeve before raising her hood to conceal her face again.

 

[Slenn]

Gwen slowed themselves to a halt and onto the ground.

<color=purple>"Crap, I can't find anything."
"What?" She kicked the ground. "Fudge! We'll just have to play it by ear then."

 

[Drakmorg]

And then Victoria clumsily fell out of a nearby tree, smashing her face against the pavement and breaking her nose.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"I don't see her either. Maybe we should split up." Faro suggested as he continued to look around, scratching his head in confusion.

 

[Slenn]

"Wait a minute! That man. The police said he was part of a company labeled with deforestation. I need to call the police again to find out what company that was. She might be planning to head over there to kill him."

EMily pulled out Photon again and dialed the number.

Samus was about to comment when she heard something falling out of a tree. She turned, and saw Vicky. "Victoria?!" She sounded genuinely surprised, and headed over.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"I thought I felt another humanoid mass nearby." Gwen said, looking in the direction of Victoria from her position. She ran over to her while EMily was phoning the police.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

EMily would be connected to the Met again, though a different person answered this time.

 

[Slenn]

"Hello there, this is Emily. I called earlier about an arsonist that has been giving death threats to people. I've heard there was a death threat given to a man recently who was part of a company that's tied with deforestation. What company was this?"

 

[ShindoL Shill]

EMily would hear typing, before being told the name of the company. If she looked it up, she would find that it had an office building close by.

 

[Slenn]

"Thank you very much. I have no doubt that you have security there right?"

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Just a car. They have security of their own, too."

 

[Slenn]

"Very good then. Thank you very much." She hung up, and immediately started to look up the location on the map.

"Guys, I have a location. It's the company that's been receiving the death threats. It's close by here, only a few blocks away. If this girl has gone anywhere, it must be there."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Yeah, she's probably going there. Let's go." Faro said, waiting for Emily to lead the way.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"Vicky, you wanna give an arsonist a beating for cash?"

EMily started to dash off in the direction of the building.

Samus followed Emily, Paralyser in hand.

 

[Random berk]

Joanna stuffed her knife back into her sleeve and followed the older women.

 

[Drakmorg]

[small]"Fuckin shit tree branches, can't hold any goddamn weight, fuck!"[/small]

Victoria angrily muttered to herself, holding her broken nose as she stood back up.

"Yeah, no, I'm fine by the way. Don't everybody rush over to help."

She grumbled for a moment before setting her nose back into place. She wordlessly followed after the others as they hurried to leave.

"What's it look like I'm trying to do?"
