<color=green>"I can see why. There's roughly the same amount of planets in the galaxy as there are stars. I guess you could say I'm from an alternate Milky Way galaxy. Where I'm from there's roughly 60 or so planets in ours that bear life. And out of those only 5 bear sentient life. And there's an energy based intelligence that sits near the galactic core. We've made contact with most of them. Well... 'we' meaning just my sisters and the crew of our ship. Yet it's some of the most incredible stuff I've seen. How rare is life where you're from?"

"I've met about ten races of aliens. But there are tons of humans everywhere in universe! Your planet didn't keep records of this but it used to be that there was tons of humans everywhere using psionic powers to warp around the universe... But then one day, they went feral or died."
<color=green>"I see... that's a shame they went off that way. But how could they all have died if there are still tons of humans everywhere? Are you sure you're using your past and present tense correctly? You mentioned transhumans. We have a few that came about with the advent of mind-machine interfacing and supercomputers. Technically speaking I'm from 1000 years in the future with respect to the current time."
"You are not human? You hide it well." Nalyssa commented. "Then again, I suppose I do as well. But what you see of me is merely an illusion. I fear my true appearance would be too monstrous for anyone to bear..."
"Very well. I do not wish to deceive anyone any longer, but I still would not like to dispel the illusion in front of everyone..."

Winona was confused.

The only way that would make any sense is if in your universe, humans were everywhere to begin with and were a spacefaring civilization that colonized Earth. And then Earth would be the last refuge of humans that still exist after their near mass extinction. How come they were everywhere in the galaxy, then died off, and still exist on Earth at this present time if this is all history for you?"

The only way that would make any sense is if in your universe, humans were everywhere to begin with and were a spacefaring civilization that colonized Earth. Kenna followed, the irony of literally being led by the blind not lost on her. When they were in an empty room, Kenna turned to face Nalyssa. She rolled up her sleeves, then shifted. Her arms, eyes, mouth and ears turned wolflike, deliberately shifting more than usual.
"Wait! Let me start over. It used to be that a bunch of psionics were helping with interstellar travel, but then a mysterious event occured that caused all the psionics to die or go feral. The regular humans were perfectly fine, but the civilizations were scattered apart, and had to do a lot of repairing. That's why Earth doesn't know of us, cause many year ago they lost records of this many centuries ago. Your people had basically reverted to Cavemen, cause they were dependent on other nations for supplies, and with the psionics dead, they could not get these supplies so many of your people had caused a nuclear winter, fighting over these supplies."
<color=green>"So then... what about the massive amounts of archaeological data regarding the primates, Ardipithicus Afarensus, and the many other species of humanoids that lead up to humans in the fossil record? Was that all a coincidence for the humans of Earth in your universe?"
