Yorick's eyes flashed at Samus' display of confidence. He scooted his chair over to her. "Pick three cards. Don't let me see them, but study them carefully." he said.
Samus looked at the cards, picking three at random, careful to keep them close to her chest.

Phaesan translated what Victoria had asked, then the nurse's response. [color=ff9966]"She says your clothes were brought to the hospital. Someone will go get them."[/color] Then, she thought for a few seconds. [color=ff9966]"It seems this planet is Earth, which is where I was sent. I'd like to find out more about the humans. Though, right now, I'll probably have to run away before law enforcers discover me."[/color] As she spoke, Phaesan turned her head left and right, slightly, looking around for anyone approaching her directly.
[color=ff9966]"I panicked and threatened a nurse when she woke me."[/color] Phaesan replied. [color=ff9966]"I doubt that will be a good first impression."[/color] The alien approached a window, looking out to judge how high they were. Further down the ward, a nurse pointed at Phaesan, and two police officers moved towards her. [color=ff9966]"I hope we meet again."[/color] Phaesan said, before shooting the window with her rifle and diving through the cracked glass.
Samus got a 3 of hearts, a 10 of hearts, and an 8 of diamonds. Yorick then closed his eyes and took the cards back and shuffled them around. "Now pick another one from these three." he instructed.

"I guess I could pay back that favor by trying to smooth things over with the peace-keepers for 'em."Samus picked the 10 of hearts. "Alright, now remember that card most of all. That is your card." Yorick said as he put the card back in the deck and started to shuffle it. After a bit of shuffling, he told Samus to pick the top card of the deck.
Samus would find it was a joker. It looked like it was laughing at her. "Is that your card?" Yorick asked her.
EMily chuckled at the result.

"But the magician mentioned he likes green!"
"Winona..." Sara sighed, leaning her head on her fist while sitting. "We've been over this. We're sending in Gwen next as soon as it's nighttime for EMily. You can join them on the day after."

"I see. Tell you what, put the card back and you shuffle it. As you do, make sure to determine whether or not it is a normal deck of normal cards." Yorick said as he handed Samus the deck. If she shuffled it, she would have no choice but to assume it was normal. "Just hold it out in front of you when you're ready."
Yorick smiled as he simply drew the top card and showed it to Samus without looking at it. "Is this your card?" he asked. And it was the 10 of hearts.
