"You understand we are not from this world, correct?" Samus asked, gesturing to the group at large. "We arrived here from across space and time with no explanation. If you arrived as we did... It is probably not 1974 here."
"Oh. Well that don't sound too bad. As long as this place has booze and jobs fer mercenaries, it's good enough fer me." Tavish replied.
"And heads to cut off. We need those too." A voice from the sword on Tavish's hip said.
"Shush, Eyelander. We can cut some heads off later. First, we need tae find a job."

"I would feel more comfortable finding work, but with recent events... It would be wise to rest and wait to see what happens in the world." Samus suggested. Her eyes flicked to the Eyelander. "Did your blade just... Speak?"
Tavish smiled, then silently drew Eyelander from it's sheath and held it out to Samus. "Yeah I can speak, what of it? I'm a haunted sword. By the way, can I cut off your head?"
Sophia had been watching the exchange between Samus and Tavish for a short while, not sure exactly what to make of it, the whole situation. Seeing however that there was others around just in case things got a little hairy "You're alright here for the moment right guys? I just wanted to see if I can grab a map if I can."
Sophia then turned to the Eyelander. "Wait hold on, remember about what I said, you can't do that kind of stuff here right?"

"Eyelander was slow-forged for generations in the bowels of captured English kings." Tavish said to Samus, putting Eyelander back in it's sheath. "I dunnae when it got haunted, but the ghost seems to have a thing fer cuttin' off heads."
"Don't worry though, he can't actually do it by himself. He needs me tae wield him, and I'd rather not go killin' people now that Ms. Pauling isn't here tae keep me out of jail." Tavish said to Sophia.

Samus decided to shelve the question of how a claymore is forged in someone's large intestines for now. "As long as it and you don't kill innocent people..."
EMily had stepped out of the cab a long while back. She sat on a park bench listening in on the conversation between the rest of the party and Demoman.
"I don't think you'll find a mercenary service around here lately. My only guess is to check the 'wanted' posters in the police station." She then mumbled out loud "Wait do they have 'wanted' posters in this century? My century doesn't."

"Um... that's good... I guess." Sophia replied, not entirely sure who this Ms Pauling was, but also wasn't sure she wanted to. "I guess it's a bit more outspoken than most then." She added with a shrug.
"Alright." Sophia said as she moved into the hotel and went towards the desk. "Um... hello?" She called the clerk behind the desk. "Can you help me for a moment please?"
The clerk looked at Sophia for a moment before calling over another worker, a woman coming to aid the clerk. "Yes miss? May I helpa you?" She said with a slight accent.
"Alright." Sophia said as she moved into the hotel and went towards the desk. "Um... hello?" She called the clerk behind the desk. "Can you help me for a moment please?"
The clerk looked at Sophia for a moment before calling over another worker, a woman coming to aid the clerk. "Yes miss? May I helpa you?" She said with a slight accent.
Seras had been off collecting her thoughts for some time now. With a sigh and a nod, she walked over to Vicky and tapped her on the shoulder.
"I don't want to get into another shouting match with you." Seras said with crossed arms. "But I do still want to talk about...earlier." she continued.
"Um, ya. Do you have a map for this area?" Sophia asked politely.
"Would you like the English or the Japanese versions then ma'am." The woman asked, looking down to pick up the brochures behind the desk.
"Well, a... local friend of mine is going to be giving me a tour, so both would be fantastic!" Sophia replied, having to think fast given she wasn't sure what either of those were.
"Of course, here you go." The woman gave the two maps.
"Thank you~" Sophia said as she bowed to the woman and then went out to the rest after learning where they were currently on the map too.

Sophia stepped back out of the door moments later, looking at the two papers before settling on the English version. "Wow, I wonder how close this is?" She said as she flipped it over to look at the back for a moment.
"Hey EMily, I got a map, do you know if the police station is close by or would we have to take a cab?" Sophia asked, raising up the map brochure.
Sophia couldn't help but overhear Seras and Victoria's exchange, looking over to them for a moment before turning back to EMily.
