The four orbs nodded towards EMily. [color=3B9C9C]Perfect! then at least I can talk to you, even if you wouldn't be able to see me[/color] the 4 Orbs spun around with the spiral acting as the leader. but they seemed to just look around and back, like they were confused on where to go. [color=3B9C9C]Wait, what the Hell is a ship? is that a vehicle or a creature? oh sod it I'll just stay here for the moment...[/color] The orbs seeming confused just decided to stay hovering where they were. "Im a stck wth yu 4 now, ths plce is confsin" it wrote in the sand to EMily.

"'I'm a stick with you for now, this place is confusing'. You and me both, Serene. For right now we're waiting on others to go to a hotel. In the mean time you can go check out the drowned people over there."
She pointed over yonder to the floating corpses.

"I feel like I know you from somewhere." Seras said to Samus as she looked closely at her.

"I do not recognise you." Samus replied bluntly.

Tokyo, Overnight

EMily would find a conveniently open store that she could sell her gold to. This got her enough money to get her and the others rooms at a hotel for a couple of nights. They would be able to shower, and rest for the night.
Victoria was taken to the hospital while she recovered from almost drowning.

Meanwhile, the tentacled merman returned to Tokyo Bay to recover the dead body of his companion, before heading out to sea. The rest of the merfolk had gone upriver, into the city.

"We probably shouldn't spend too much time resting. Those fish people might attack the city at any time." Seras said to anyone she happened to be around.

Samus nodded in agreement to Seras, having disengaged her suit when they got to the hotel to avoid any odd looks.

EMily got herself redressed in in her washed clothing.

She sat in her room looking at local maps of Tokyo, figuring out what to do next for their itinerary. Soon, a bubble-popping noise was heard nearby her and out came a note on paper attached to a small capsule the size of a medicine bottle.
"Dear, EMily. As a reminder we are watching in real time and cannot view events further than where you are now. We are unsure as to the cause, much like the several times beforehand. Schrødinger informed us that you are going to be doing some underwater excursions, so we thought we would give you some better clothing suited for the matter. In the capsule sent with this note, is a standard diving suit which you can connect to Photon for the hydro electrolysis. Photon can strap onto the back. You should remember this from a while back, but we're informing it to you anyway. The clothing should exchange once you unscrew the cap, so your dress should be stored within the capsule whilst in your diving gear.

She rolled her eyes, and headed out the door to find the others.
"Hello there. Where do you think we should head next?"

Samus looked at EMily. "As soon as we are ready, head back to the bay. Investigate. Find where those things are, and if there are more of them."

"I hope those police officers are planning on informing the military about what's happening. i doubt they'll be able to handle this, even with our help." Seras said after EMily walked in.

Yorick seemed to be busy playing with a butterfly knife. "IF they were smart, they'd start evacuating the city." he said.

 

[Slenn]

"I agree. If there are more of them, they are most likely on the move." And then a question arose. "By the way, I was able to get a diving suit from my sisters in the far future. Do you have anything that might aid you underwater?" She asked either one of them. "I only say this because we're probably going to be underwater more times and for longer durations."

"And I am from the future (with respect to the current date), in case you are curious. What I told at the police station is only half true. Where I live in the future is in the place formally known as Lawrence, KS. But that's only an aside for now."

Victoria was still unconscious in the hospital, on account of also having to recover from losing a large amount of blood.

"I do have an underwater suit, but I cannot access it right now."

"I don't think I'll be able to fight very well underwater...The only advantage I might have is I don't exactly...need to breath." Seras said a little hesitantly. "So you're a time traveler?" she asked EMily.

 

[Slenn]

"Oh! Are you able to hold your breath for long periods of time?"

"I hope I didn't sound obnoxious by saying that. It's all in attempt to keep others in context to let them know what I'm talking about. But yes, I am a time traveller. But it's not necessarily my primary profession. In my time, our history books had inexplicably changed for some reason. This had happened to us at least twice beforehand. We go back in time to where the history starts changing. We find whatever is causing our timeline to be mixed with another timeline, and solve it. Beforehand it's lead us to Paris and Rome and various other places in this period of history. This time it was Tokyo."

Elsewhere in Tokyo, 7:00AM

Five merfolk climbed out of the river. They quickly ran into an apartment building, one of them stopping to keep shut the doors with a layer of ice. Slowly, they made their way through the building, bursting into each apartment and killing the occupants. The weapons they used had similar effects to Makamsar's spear, drowning the victims and then zombifying them.

"Um, I just...don't really need to breath." Seras said, being evasive. "Wow. That sounds really exciting." she then said after EMily's explanation.

"I never got to hear where you are from. Some people here are from space, Astania, the 21st century... but where are you from? Are you from this time?"
