The officer stepped to the side. "We heard about you. You are probably the best people to deal with... whatever is in there."
Hans, after some consideration, left for the hospital. He would take the ride if the police offered it, and would be equally willing to walk the unfamiliar streets.
"We should still investigate." Samus replied to Yorick. Nodding in thanks to the officer as he stepped aside, Samus activated her armour and strolled forward, arm cannon rsised., ready to enter the building.

Samus would see the doors to the building were frozen shut from inside. There was no light coming from inside the building.

"After you." Yorick said as he left Samus walk forward. "Or do you need some help with that door?" he asked when he saw the doors were iced over.

EMily gathered energy for a bit as her eyes glowed a deep blue. She kept her infrared vision online and focused on the openings that the door needed clearing so that it would open. A white visible light laser (with a hint of ultraviolet) of 500 W power was fired to pierce through the ice but not the metal frame.
Hans would poke his head in briefly to check on Victoria, and seeing her cared for, he left, ready to join the group and help out.
[color=48CCCD]Ice huh? If I remember that's the cold and hard substance...[/color] The 4 orbs of Serene continued to float and wizz around. [color=48CCCD]Oh are you lot going ot blast that?![/color] The spiral orb started to spin as it watched Samus and the others. [color=48CCCD]SHE CAN FIRE LAZER BEAMS![/color] The orbs bobbled up and down rapidly, like they were enjoying the sight.
EMily was successful in her attempt to melt the ice, eventually allowing the doors to be opened.
Samus walked up to the doors, nudging them open with her arm cannon, then poking her head in to see if it was clear.
EMily's infrared vision wouldn't help her locate anyone in the building, and, as they entered, the group would feel the air get colder.

Yorick handed Seras a submachinegun and ushered her to go it. She nodded and walked in behind EMily, unfolding the stock of the gun as she walked. Yorick then pulled out a shotgun for himself and brought up the rear.
