Moving through the foliage while occasionally trying to fly but still not doing all to well. Although it wasn't a capable flyer, it did find another purpose for its wings, buzzing them quickly to chase off whenever flies gathered around it, finding covering itself in dirt didn't do a lot to keep them away.
Some time after moving around, eating grasses, small plants and leaves, the bug clacked its mandibles softly as it picked up an unfamiliar scent with its keen sense of smell, it being carried to the bug on the winds. Following the scent, the bug left the foliage, coming out at an area with high grasses. Although it could smell the scent a short distance away, the lack cover the grass proved made the source invissible. Mimmicking the scent on insinct, the bug began moving closer to it, eventually spotting the orange and white fur of a dik-dik, who looked in the grub's direction as it moved, alerted by the noise of the grass rustling.
The bug saw the dik-dik looking towards it, but didn't think to stop, or even slow down, confident that the change in scent would pacify the animal like the trick had done in the past. Unfortunately, the dik-dik wasn't so easily fooled and coupled with its skittish nature, ran away. The bug chased after it, but couldn't keep up, and lost it after only a couple of seconds. Clacking its mandibles in annoyance, the bug turned and moved further moved about, eating a trail through the grasses.
OoC: That's it for me for today.
