Seras awkwardly looked around and avoided eye contact with Sophia. She focused on looking horrified at Vicky, still hoping she was joking.
"That's what I mean when I said that was insane... And to think today I was going to have some vacation..." Sophia rubbed her face. "So... let me just make sure I got all of this. We are on a planet called Earth, and we are in a city called Tokyo, Japan. All of you are from other places and were brought here for some unknown reason or another. And to top it all off there are fish people that are trying to conquer an entire city..." Sophia sounded drained by the end before looking to Victoria.

Looking the aardvark over for a time, the bug figured it would probably be able take the aardvark down without much effort and lowered its front legs and waited for the moment to strike. Once the aardvark was closer, and had its side turned to it, the bug lunged at it, mandibles wide open.
Although the aardvark was alerted by the noise of the bug jumping from the foliage and began running away with a squeel, the bug managed to land on the aardvark's hindquarter's, extending its needle-like fangs, as well as slightly thicker fangs located in the sides of the bug's mouth and piercing the aarkvark's flesh with them, injecting two types of neurotoxin into the aardvark's bloodstream.
Clinging to the aardvark with its pincers and sticky legs, the bug continued injecting venom form its fangs, while adding a dose from its tail stringer before the aardvark managed to shake it off.
Landing on its side with a squeek, got back to its feet, then began chasing after the aardvark, which ran in a zig-zag pattern, making it difficult for the bug to keep up, it only being able to maintain a fast running speed when moving in a straight line.

"Ah, sure thing.""Hey thanks a lot." Sophia smiled as she took the sausage link, looking it over for a moment before biting into it. As she continued eating the sausage, she nodded towards EMily scratching her chin a little. 'So if that's the case...'

"I came here voluntarily from my own timeline. For some reason, this timeline were in is tangled with mine. I'm here mainly to investigate what's gotten them into this mess. But I don't know if the mermen are the reason behind it or not."
"Alright... so..." Sophia thought for a long time, obviously having a lot to think about given the new revelations. "So I guess the only thing I can ask now is... how can I help? Since either I stay here with you and try to find a way together, or I go on my own in a place I have no idea about. I don't really have a choice in the matter do I?"

Not really easy to figure out something like that with... well you know." She said sheepishly. "But I'm sure we can make better headway if we work together, right?"

Chasing after its prey, the bug jumped forward and tried to fly in an attempt to get on the aardvark's back, but couldn't get high enough before falling down. With it being the only option available to it, the bug continued to chase after the aardvark on foot, occasionally squirting the yellow liquid from its mouth at it, but often largely missing due to the aardvark moving as it did.
On the few occasions the squirt slowed the aardvark down, the bug managed to move up behind it and sting its with its tail, delivering another small dossage of venom, then was shaken off again.Eventually, the aardvark managed to get to its burrow and ran inside, bleating as it went. While slipping into the burrow would've kept it safe from its natural predators, the bug was more then small enough to follow suit. Entering, the bug changed its scent to have it match the smell of the soil, then followed after the aardvark's scent through the tunnels, walking up the wall, then moving upside-down on the ceiling.
Thinking it had shaken the bug off, the aardvark moved to one of the main chambers, where it laid down, resting its head on the ground while breathing irragularly, occompanied by the occasional wheeze. Seeing its poison began to take a toll on the aardvark, the bug patiently waited for it to kill the aardvark.

Sophia said awkwardly, slowly raising her hand. "Have we tried telling them they'd have an easier time moving somewhere else than dealing with 13 million people? I vote that one."
"That's pretty much our goal at this point." She replied to Victoria. "Who is ready to try and meet with the mer-leader?" She addressed to anyone.
