"Or maybe they'll just adjust their tactics for when the want to attack again. They also said they have a history of showing up to places and demanding the inhabitants leave. That sounds like conquest to me. Who's to say they won't get desperate again? It seemed pretty easy for you to forgive these guys. You remember that apartment that was full of innocent people? You didn't go to the top floor. Samus and I found those people. Zombified, with their insides painting the walls." Yorick said before letting EMily go. "It just seems to me, they're more likely to be a threat than anything else." he continued.

"And I have seen far worse than zombification of a few corpses, Yorick. I have seen Earth attempted to be devoured by a biology project that has consumed trillions of lives. That project is dead now, and the Earth has its life saved. But I understood where it came from because I forgave it." Her words spoke with a passionate fervor from her heart as she placed her hands on her chest. "It wasn't easy for me, and neither was it for my sisters. Countries in this century must be forgiven for their past transgressions if we ever hope to sit beside them."

"You're also assuming that killing them off prematurely is the most surefire way to get rid of them or assure peace. In my time, understanding something comes before killing them. They understand the consequences if they attack again. They know the numbers are overwhelming. They know this world was not made for them. If they improve their tactics, then their punishment will be the results of their war."

"[small]Not everyone needs to jump out agree instantly either... that's fine.[/small]" Sophia said, a little confused by the quietness of the group, but figured they were just thinking or something.

Phaesan put away her tablet and looked at Sophia. [color=ff9966]"If you have information you feel the authorities should know, then you should tell them."[/color] she replied.

Yorick looked like he wanted to argue more, but then said: "Well, maybe you're right. You seem to have more knowledge about this sort of thing than me. So I guess I'll just have to trust you." As he said this he put an arm around her shoulder and started leading her back to the rest of the group.

"Hey. So what happened?" Seras asked Sophia as she walked up to her.

"Well that's all well and good, but I don't really know my way around this place, and since everyone else here besides Shara know where the police office is, I thought we could all go, ya know?" Sophia tried to explain her reasoning to Phaesan.

"Well... we nearing had a fight break out, but it seems like we've convinced them not to cause any more trouble. Now it's on them to not to honour what they said, I guess." Sophia explained to Seras as she walked up, before sneezing a little. "The air is really salty here."

"Oh, that's good news!" Seras said rather cheerily. "Well, this is a salt water bay." she mentioned.

 

[Slenn]

"Thank you. Trust is the final step to understanding." She said while nodding. "Now, Sophia has a request."

Once there, she nodded to Yorick, indicating that he may remove his arm from her shoulder.
"I'd be happy to go to the police station."

Yorick removed his arm from EMily's shoulder.

"That would do it I guess, never really been around such large bodies of water like this." Sophia said a little embarrassed, tilting her head slightly.

"Perfect, then after that... I guess we can figure that out on the way really." Sophia smiled at EMily agreeing with her idea.

 

[Kirke]

You follow the others silently, listening to the conversations but not having anything meaningful to add to any of them. You don't know if you agree with EMily's view on aliens, but decide not mention that you agreed to the deal not out of any ideal, but rather that you felt half a dozen to forty would be terrible odds.

"So who are you?" Yorick asked Shara suddenly.

[color=ff9966]"I haven't been around bodies of water this size before, either."[/color] Phaesan said to Sophia. [color=ff9966]"I can hardly believe it covers most of this planet."[/color]

"Well, the planet I was on before had a single landmass..." Sophia nodded. "I just never ended up going."

A man began to approach the group, with a large-barreled weapon in his right hand and a brown bottle in his left. He took a long drink from the bottle, then staggered a few more steps towards the harbor. "Good day, any a ye know where I can fin' th' police station? I have a job tae blow it up." He yelled out towards the people standing on the harbor.

You are a little surprised and annoyed when Yorick, though you do not really know his name, come up and ask your name. You ask him if introductions are not customary where he is from.

"Yes they are. Why don't you start?" Yorick said in return.

 

[Zepherus14]

"..." Sophia wasn't even sure how to respond to the drunken man. Sophia then looked over to the rest of the group, whispering in a hushed tone. "[small]He looked drunk enough that he can barely stand, you don't think he's serious do ya?[/small]"

"Can I at least go kill that guy?"

Vicky asked the group, pointing over her shoulder with her left hand at the drunken cyclops.

Phaesan looked at the drunk, then back to Sophia. [color=ff9966]"His weapon tells me he is... but I'm not really familiar 'drunk' people."[/color] she said. [color=ff9966]"Is that a reason not to believe him?"[/color]
