Samus looked around, thinking there was a bug or something as she felt something tough her ear. The Sectoid would find her mind to be pretty closed off and heavily guarded.
Medic would find a lot of the survivors suffering from burns, concussions, blunt force trauma, and breathing in ash. The sick were probably sick even before Desperado showed up, but none complained for fear of losing free and instant healthcare.

Samus slapped at her ear, trying to get rid of whatever was there.

Samus looked around as she felt a strange pressure in her head, before coming to a realisation. She looked at the Sectoid. "You're psychic, aren't you?"

The sectoid flinched, and nodded as it slowly looked to see what else it could find connected to that feeling of pain, shock, anger, and fear.[hr]"Vhell, people try to kill me often enough, I'm usually branded as a villain vhen I kill somevun, so it's a frequent reaction. Zherefore, these killers vill be called villains, and zhey vill be killed by people." he said.
"Whatever you are doing, stop." Samus told him sternly. "I do not appreciate my privacy being violated."

Samus struggled to understand what the Sectoid was saying, but got the gist of its words. She wasn't so clear on the meaning though. "Bury what?"
Samus was about to lecture the alien on how the heart worked, before realising he didn't mean it literally. "You mean my emotions? What did you see while you were in there?" She sounded a bit angry.
Samus looked at the creature, now having even less idea what it was saying.

The sectoid sighed, and just poured the concepts into her head.
She would see a fire, raging, burning down a city.
She would feel the fire be taken, and held, and slowly contained in the palm of someone's hands.
But it didn't stop burning. It kept burning. It wouldn't stop. And it slowly outgrew the palms...

Samus responded to the vision better than one might expect, as it was not the first time she had experienced the supernatural. After the initial shock, she merely sat back and watched. When it was over, she shook her head to clear it, then looked at the Sectoid. "I understand what you are trying to tell me, but I am fine." Her tone was level and stoic, almost emotionless.
It stared, and made explosion noises.[HR]
Medic said, "Being able to make breakthroughs outdoes keeping folks alive, also pardon me, sir, but vould you mind if I put this into your arm?" he said to the sick old man, "Should keep you varm, but might explode."
