The cyborg with the shield drew a sword, holding it in his free hand. He signaled for one to the rocketeers to follow him, and they began sweeping the street, slowly working towards the group.

Sophia hiding behind a bush and tree brought her hand out in front of her slowly as a baseball sized chocolate orb formed floating above just above it. 'Geez this is dangerous...' She thought as she watched some of the others heading over towards the checkpoint, trying to think of what she could do to help the situation.
The cyborgs on partol seemed to notice Victoria creeping about and Rikos strumming... And then noticed Tavish walking towards them like a dumbass. The rocketeer fired at him as the one with the shield rushed forward.
Roland shot the rocket out of the air almost immedietly after it was fired.

Seeing the faceless person with their head turned towards the bounty board, the bug cocked its head as it looked in mild confusion, wondering why it was the person seemed to be looking at something while to its understanding, she didn't have anything to look at. Furthermore, it was also taken aback by the person's odd smell.

Gwen got from her cover behind a garbage bin and extended her arm outward to pull the riot shields away from their hands.

Mr Bug would note that the figure didn't seem to smell of anything. As the bug moved, the figure's head began following it. "Can I help you with anything?" they asked.

Seeing the man with the rocket launcher seemingly explode after launching the missile, Sophia blinked a couple of times, not exactly believing what she'd just seen then. "That's... a pretty good shot you have there Roland." She complemented the man, not even exactly sure if he'd been the one to do it.
Tavish's strike bounced off the shield harmlessly, and the cyborg was holding it too tight for Gwen to rip it off, but the Sectoids and Samus' plasma shots burned a hole right through it. The mini sentry opened fire on him, but the bullets might as well have been raindrops,and few of the Widowmakers pellets went through the newly made hole.
The RPG exploded as Roland shot it, sending the rocketeer flying back, slowly getting up as Vicky charged. EMily would find the shoulder to be a lot tougher.

The sectoid fired again, before hitting the one he mentally destabilized inside the building with a harder deconstruction of it's emotional dam, pouring it until he hopefully went insane and killed everyone.
The engineer whirled out it's pistol and continued firing, with the sentry attacking it's nearest target still.

With the second round commencing, EMily fired an industrial grade laser down from the knee on the cyborg and upwards through the torso.
