Not being able to approach Mistral what with her being a whirling dervish of death at the moment, Vicky elected to take a moment to prepare. She shut her eyes for a moment and breathed in deeply. The muscles on her arm would expand slightly, giving the appearance of sudden growth, with her left arm and both legs seeming to follow suit as well. Her canines visibly elongated as she let out a clear, guttural roar.
When Joel saw Mistral stop, he quickly removed his bag, jacket and shirt, baring his chest. [color=003399]"I'm gonna melt your fucking brains right out of your fucking skull!"[/color] he yelled. He lowered his centre of gravity and raised his arms to try and stop Mistral. Thanks to the Medic's uberheal, Joel's body temperature and density began increasing even more.
Joel's hands slowed and damaged Mistral's staff, but did not stop it, causing a large gash in his chest and cuts on his palms. After that, she scooted back, throwing the spear at the Medic like a javelin and ripping apart some Dwarf Gekko to rebuild it. Sectoid and Samus shots proved ineffective due to the target moving at such high speeds, but Emily's laser seared a long cut down the side of Mistrals leg.
More Gekko arrived. One jumped on Samus, restraining her and shocking her. Three more jumped on Victorias back, trying to do the same. Two others ran around with large pistols, shooting inaccurate but deadly fire at Emily and Gwen.
A catwalk could be heard crashing in the distance as the heat warped it and caused it to fall.

[color=003399]"Fuck! Get back here you *****!"[/color] Joel yelled, before noticing the Gekkos with guns. He charged at one of the gun-wielding Gekkos and, upon reaching it, Joel would attempt to slice it in half with his HF blade.
Vicky was thrown to the ground as she was dog-piled on.
She breathed in deeply and projected a field of psionic energy around herself. The field would prevent the Gekko from being able to get any sort of grip on her, which she used to slip out from under them and angrily tear into them with her blades, and would hurl the useless husks at Mistral after disabling them.

In their QFT forms the inaccurate shooting was next to impossible to hit them, as their senses of metals and mass were heightened by a substantial amount. They dodged the shots appropriately shortly before their attack.
Gwen took a few of the Gekkos in mid fire and slammed them into Mistral's back at the speed of a highway vehicle.
EMily sped up out of the way of the original Gekko fire to a better position away from Mistral. She fired a whomping EMP like a shotgun at Mistral.

The group quickly cleaned up the Gekko, and soon all that was left of them was husks and scrap. Emily's EM pulse frazzled Mistral, and Gwen and Vicky's attacks slammed her into a tank that began leaking liquid nitrogen. Mistral quickly jumped off, switching the polearm to whip mode and spinning it around herself, creating a vortex of slashes. Anything that got close would be cut to ribbons instantly. A huge swarm of Dwarf Gekkos, about twenty of them, began crawling out of the woodwork and trying to push the group towards Mistral's whirlwind.
Joel put his sword through his belt and picked up the gun with his mechanical hand. He aimed at Mistral and began firing at her centre of mass.
EMily and Gwen regrouped.
"My sense of blackbody radiation indicates that the tank is leaking out something incredibly cold. It's cold enough to be liquid gas."
<color=purple>"We could probably use it to freeze her if enough of it's a large enough hole so I can pull it out with a tug." She faced the Gekkos that were attempting to push them in. <color=purple>"Oh please, like you guys are any threat." She began tossing several of them at the whip, attempting to create lots of shrapnel in Mistral's direction.
EMily fired a solar laser to scorch Mistral's arm that was swinging the whip.

"Vhell zhat hurt..." he said, dumbstruck, the medi-gun still healing Joel.
Quickly snapping out of it, he quickly went to heal Victoria, before seeing if he could block the whip with the javelin in his chest.[hr]
The sectoid began to attempt to lay suppressing fire on Mistral, to keep her pinned down.
Which then proceeded to quickly heal up due to being under the effects of a quick-fix uber, leaving him standing around with a javelin in his chest.

The hole from the spear managed to heal only halfway after its removal, which was fairly painful.
"Vhell, zhis is not good." he said, as he continued to heal Joel, his natural regeneration preventing him from bleeding out too quickly.

Vicky's thrown Gekko pounded into Mistral, backing her up against the tanker... Just as the Sectoids plasma shots melted a huge hole in its side, dumping a load of liquid nitrogen. It spilled down the front, onto itself and on top of Mistral. She began slowing and jittering, her wounds flash freezing, her polearm dropped and rolling aside. The sheer cold had frozen her in place, trapping her and severely weakening her armour.

Vicky began to show that she was breathing heavily, as the day had taken a lot out of her, and the smoke now filling the air made her start coughing.
She muttered to herself as she hustled over to the now incapacitated Mistral.
She grabbed Mistral hair with her right hand, and used the blade in her left to cut her head clean off her shoulders.
She spoke, coughing more again afterwards, then making to escape the exploding facility with Mistral's head in tow.

"As much as I'd like to, no time to stand on ceremony, this whole place is about to go up."Samus ran after Vicky, overtaking her and motioning for her to follow. The Varia Suit's air filters and heat protection allowed Samus to take point, leading the others through the facility.
