"Oh I know that very much. Not everything can be answered within the realm of human comprehension. As for your guy in question, he probably had legs like a cricket. And for redirecting a laser, there are things called mirrors. Perhaps the technology he as using was based on that. I can't say much else without a picture of the guy." She helped unstrap the medi-gun and gave it to Samus.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Nah. He was a regular human. And he deflected dem with a lightsaber."

 

[Slenn]

"Well, what's a lightsaber? The enhanced jump may have the same mechanism Gwen has. Perhaps this person is able to feel and use gravity in the same way she can. It is a fundamental force of nature after all." She gazed over at her sister.

"[color=01A9DB]Fair enough.[/color]" Roland replied to Vicky.

"[color=01A9DB]You should not be so dismissive of magic.[/color]" He said to EMily."[color=01A9DB]It may not even have an explanation, but it is real.[/color]"

Samus disengaged her suit to free both her hands, and held up the medigun. After a second to acquaint herself with it, she pointed it at the Medic and pulled the lever.


The Engineer found security reports, logistic stats, and a few security videos.

 

[Demonjazz]

"... I think it's a laser on a stick... And it cuts through everything... Used by dem jedis."

 

[Slenn]

"I never said it isn't real. I only said was the unexplained and the unexplored. To reiterate: I'm aware that there are things outside the realm of human comprehension."

"If you showed a lightning bolt to the Ancient Greeks, they would take it as magic because it would be hundreds of years before people would nail it down to electric discharges. If you showed the moon landing to anyone in before the 1900's, very few would be able to conceive it. In my world, magic in the fantasy sense has never been measured."

 

[Wackymon]

Medic began to slowly heal, as the wound slowly closed itself up.
Medic, however, still wasn't awake yet. Might I recomend throwing him into a wall?[hr]Engineer watched it.

Samus did not try to throw him into the wall, because that's not what you do when trying to heal someone.

The security video Engi picked was dated from a few days ago, just after the attack in Damascus. It was a video log from one of Desperado's standard cyborgs, at an unknown location.

 

[Wackymon]

Engineer nodded, as he began to look for a method to store this information.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Dat's what dey all say."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Engi would find a few standard hard drives and holographic memory cubes scattered around the bunker.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Oh what do you know? You're just a construct. Do you even know what stress is?"

Vicky said in reply to X-9.

"Yes."

 

[Slenn]

"I'm not making an excuse, Dace. It's what thousands upon thousands of years of human intuition, imagination, research, and engineering has told us about the world. And there's not a better joy in the world for me than to examine and understand the universe that holds us." She delivered a nostalgic smile and sighed. "Whatever is left out there that cannot be explored, by the time we've reached our limit, we may stop and say that we're done. But we're far from our limit in my world. And even then at the limit of our comprehension, there will still be those that brave to explore the universe in its many dimensions and worlds."

 

[Drakmorg]

With the robot not giving her anything at all to go on, Vicky said nothing in reply to it.

"So can we get going? There still might be more of those bastards out there right now."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"We defeated three of their special operatives, I think we broke the backbone of their forces. And we have wounded that need to heal." Samus replied to Vicky.

"[color=01A9DB]There are things we shouldn't know.[/color]" Roland said to EMily. "[color=01A9DB]But enough on that subject. We have not yet finished our quest. We should move.[/color]"

"You're not missing out on much in the universe. It's mostly just a bunch of aliens"

Sophia had eventually followed Roland, having her hearing and locomotion restored by Engi's beam.

She'd been mostly watching the hilarious fire for the most part. EMily's little inspirational speech however did catch her attention.
