"But I don't see why he's sharing it with Samus, when we could have known about it just as well. We've all shared information with each other with regards to a particular bounty in the past. I know Samus is a bounty hunter, but it doesn't make any sense that we're excluded from what should be pretty ordinary. It's rude to do that you know?"

<color=purple>"It must be the nature of the bounty that caught his attention." And then Gwen put the dots together with the broadcast, and a gasp escaped her mouth. <color=purple>"I have a hunch. But I don't like it."

 

[Drakmorg]

Spotting Samus, Vicky figured she might as well report her findings. Seeing Samus was already in a conversation, she waved to get her attention.

 

[Chungus]

"Perhaps they do not believe it is the right time to be transparant with what they may have discovered." Yeul commented, casting a glance towards Gwen as she gasped. I hope we will be able to put this behind us, soon.

Walking further into the ship, "Silence" established the link with their bike's systems. They stopped moving, and told it that they were likely going to move along with the rest, soon. When they would, they would activate their tracking device, so the bike system's could follow. When the system confirmed this, "Silence" closed the link again, wondering how much longer it would be until the group moved.

While they had spoke, none could hear it, although EMily might sense the transmission being send out, heavily encrypted as it was.

Seeing Victoria wave towards Samus, Caius looked from Samus, to her. "Yes?" He called out, not sure if Victoria was waving towards Samus or himself.

Samus nodded to Caius, then saw Vicky waving. She looked at Caius. "I think she's waving at me. I'll go talk to her." She walked over, quietly disengaging from Caius so as not to raise suspicion.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"I think the person they might have found was...."

"Hold on, I'm picking up something." EMily interrupted. She turned in the direction of the radio signal. "It's coming from the ship. Dave's ship. But why?"

 

[Drakmorg]

Vicky nodded when Samus came walking over to inform both of them that she was waving to get Samus to come over.

"So about that light."

Vicky began.

"I heard something moving away from the spot the light came from. I chased after it for a while, but eventually it managed to shake me. Whatever it was, it's invisible and can fly."

She reported professionally.

"Anything happen here while I was gone?"

 

[Chungus]

"Very well, then." Caius responded to Samus, giving a nod. He stayed put for a moment to see if Victoria wasn't waving him over, afterall, and began walking back towards Yeul once he found this indeed wasn't the case.

"What are you picking up on?" Yeul questioned, turned her head towards the direction EMily was facing, not having an idea what she was sensing.

The transmission didn't last all that long, and it was heavily encrypted, with multiple layers of encryption, making decoding what was being send out a difficult task. However, EMily might sense that it the signal went north-wards.

 

[Kirke]

You are resting in the flight chair aboard your ship when you notice something strange on the comm. unit. Looking closer, you realise a signal is transmitted from an extremely close distance. Putting on your headset, you listen in on it. However, it is immediately clear the transmission is encrypted as all you hear are uneven bursts of static and occasional beeps. Putting your comm. unit to record it for future analysis, you hurry out of your ship. Knowing that one of the Mason sisters can pick up on radio, you ask if they have noticed a strange signal from nearby.

 

[Slenn]

"It was a radio signal that I sensed. It lasted too short for me to bring out Photon to try and translate it into sound or data. But it was close by, and it was sent that way." She pointed northwards.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Nothing important." Samus told Vicky. "Wonder what that light was..."

 

[Kirke]

You look the direction EMily points, scratching your head. You say that you recorded some of it from your ship, but that it was encrypted. Asking where it originated from, you look around to see if there are any clear threats that could have sent it.

 

[Slenn]

"Well that's good."

Vicky said, sounding a bit relieved.

"And if I had to take a guess, not anything good."

She glanced over at the ship, then back to Samus to say,

"Anyway, you keep a lookout. I'm gonna go see how Sophia is doing."

She excused herself and headed towards Dave's ship.

 

[Chungus]

Reaching Yeul, Caius heard EMily mention something about a transmission being send out, but didn't think too much on this.

"You can do that? What an unique gift." Yeul mused as EMily stated what she sensed, artially speaking to herself. Once Caius returned to her side, Yeul looked up to her, and gave him a small smile.

Making their way to the viewing room, "Silence" laid down their notepad and pen on a seat, then exited the room again. Not hearing much movement inside the ship, they began making their way out again, seeing hardly anyone had moved from last they were outside.

Seeing Victoria approach, "Silence" moved out of the way to allow her to pass.

 

[Kirke]

You put a hand on your blaster and, looking towards the entrance of Dave's ship, ask EMily who are newcomers. You add as an afterthought a question on whom could have access to a high-tech transmitter.

Samus nodded at Vicky, watching as she went to talk to Sophia.

 

[Chungus]

"There is a spy amongst us?" Caius asked Shara, having gathered as much as he listened to her talk to the EMily, and her putting her hand on her blaster practically confirming it.

Yeul cocked her head as se listened to those around her talk, wondering who would even bother spying on the group, and why.

 

[Slenn]

"Well almost anyone can transmit radio waves. As for our newcomers, that would be who Gwen calls "Silence". He's a masked guy, doesn't speak at all. Was there anything in particular that you found from the transmission? My computer wasn't materialized to translate the radio."

<color=purple>"And I think I might know who that spy might be."

Joel, having finished his toast, decided to go outside, where pretty much everyone else seemed to be. On the way, he passed Silence, looking at the mysterious person for a few seconds as he walked.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"Oh and there's a giant Chaos Marine person named Proditus. But he hasn't been doing much at all to say anything about him."
