"O-Oh." Sophia answered back, a little surprised flowers of all things were hard to come by. When Victoria offered to get her some food however, Sophia grinning back as she set her hands on her lap. "Thank you very much." She said back to Victoria has she started to leave, looking away back to her bed until Victoria mentioned the last comment. "Y-you'll what?" She squeaked quietly, looking back towards Victoria.

"It's a fine art, takes a lot of time to get right. Of course you wouldn't understand something like that."

 

[Demonjazz]

"Of course I don't. I'm too busy helping people and being handsome.

 

[Drakmorg]

Victoria was already most of the way through the door when she heard Sophia pipe up once more. She poked her head back through the doorway and said,

"Well, I just thought that since you and Pur--uh, Gwen, helped me with stuff like that through a rough patch, I might as well return the favor."

With that, she withdrew her head and made for the kitchen.

"Hmm. I do both of those things and I still find time to do some awesome magic."

 

[Demonjazz]

"Ha! Yeah, You handsome! That's a hilarious joke you got right there! You should take it on the road."

 

[Slenn]

"Hello there." EMily said to the faceless person, in her diplomatic tone. "I was wondering if we could arrange to see the issuers of the bounty for Sophia Aethis."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The area where the person behind the counter's eyes would be scrunched up, and three teardrop-shapes drew themselves on their cheek. "Why does nobody trust me to pass along a message." they said, before instantly going back to normal. "They've already been directed to a nearby location. I recommend you head there if you want to speak with them in person. But, I am entirely capable of passing on messages myself. And that'd probably be faster." As the person spoke, a map pointing to the area where the ships were parked appeared on the back of the poster.

 

[Slenn]

Emily tilted her head in confusion.
"Uh... ummm. Okay. But, wait, who directed them to go nearby us?"

<color=purple>"And we don't have anything against you. It's just it'd be much faster to exchange information directly to them."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Samus watched Emily converse with the clerk, noting the teardrops.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"They didn't say. But they'll probably be waiting near there." the figure said. "One was a man and the other was a woman, if it helps." The figure then turned their attention to Gwen, and replied, "I can contact them instantaneously, right now. You'd have to wait for them to get over here, which might take a while."

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"Patch them in then."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"What information do you have?" the person asked, a drawing of a pencil appearing on their face.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"Wait, could you elaborate on that? I was under the impression that you were going to open up a channel and we'd talk to them."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Whatever gave you the impression my magic could do that?" the person asked. "I'm going to write down the information you have, on the bounty sheets they're carrying."

 

[Demonjazz]

Braveer had stared at the man without a face before shouting "By the heart of Odlans! What tragic accident has befallen your face! Truly yours must be a tale of woe and sorrow that the likes of the world has never seen!"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Samus gave Braveer a "shut up" nudge.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"My apologies. When you said 'instantaneously', I figured it'd be like a phone line where you'd be the operator."

"Wait, I'm confused. Why are the knights carrying bounty sheets? Is that how they're being contacted?"

<color=purple>"Remember the previous bounties? The sheets you had buzzed you when you captured your bounty."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

"Ah. Sorry for the confusion, then." the faceless person said, before looking at EMily. "So we can contact them. And, probably so they have a picture of Sophia to show people."

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"Then, let's tell them we're ready to meet up with them. And we have the bounty ready." She turned behind to the rest of the group. <color=purple>"How many people should we have to meet these knights?" She gave them a wink without smiling, to give them the impression that she was referring to the number of people that would be confronting the knights away from Sophia.
