EMily's gaze examined Sophia. She recalled how her lie detection powers were able to unearth behaviors that are associated with lying. She smiled weakly out of tiredness, knowing that Sophia was telling the truth.
"Sophia, I should tell you there are certain mannerisms that are associated with someone lying. You exhibited none of those. That sounds like the genuine truth. Not that I ever doubted you, but I also had to lie-check the knight. But now that it's over... what do you plan on doing now?"

"T-That's not true!" Sophia retorted back to Victoria. The way she'd answered back sounded like she had wrestled with that very topic for a long time, and still couldn't bring herself to accept it even if it was true or false.
"Wait, you took out all the knights? All of them?!" Sophia's eyes nearly bugged out, the very idea staggering to her to comprehend.

"Right... okay." Sophia nodded, acknowledging Joel's reply.
"It'll be more fair? What do you mean?"

"To be quite honest, I and my sisters have been trying a technique called 'progressive channeling'. It allows us to gain energy at an accelerated rate, often to our maximum. We anticipated some of our combat to be quite harsh. And some of it has. But it's strained us to the point where we passed out in the last fight. And some of what we've done was sheer overkill." She gestured to the other two sisters. "What you see is the effect of burning too much energy for too long a time. Some of us thought we could get used to it, and that's why we stuck with it. But Gwen's tiredness after each battle told us that it may not be a good idea. In the end I and my sisters will be back to the basics and play it cool, so to speak. We will no longer attempt to do such a thing. I... uh... hope you don't condemn us. Please forgive us. I wanted to be honest." She took a deep breath. "Such events are a reminder that power can be useful, but it's important to stick to your guts, rather than brawn."
"That put that much strain on you guys?" Sophia asked, looked down at the sleeping Gwen and Winona. "I guess I can relate to over doing it, that sounds a lot like what happens when I use up too much mana... I still tired, and I haven't even done anything today!"
Having been inside the whole time, Sophia wouldn't have seen any of the battle, let alone how many knights had been present. "So try not to push yourselves like that, it's not healthy for you, trust me."

After Shara walked in and informed them the battle was won, Yeul asked Shara if she was alright, the state Shara was in not going unnoticed by Yeul, while Caius frowned at the news that the knights were slain, although he suspected the outcome. Now Caius put the sword on his back again, having kept it drawn and standing vigilant in the case either of the knights entered the ship.
After Shara brushed off her concerns, Yeul and Caius returned to Dave's ship, Caius not fond of the idea of being on a ship piloted by someone who looked like they could slip into onconsciousness at any moment.

Once the knights were defeated, Sam and Elm stopped and saved their their recording and watched the group moved around in between the ships, before taking off.

Presently
On Dave's ship, Caius followed up on his own advice, and walked with Yeul through the ship's vast interior in search of possible explosives planted by Sam.It almost seems like something in this place changes every day.

Elm and Sam waited for the group to take off, then flew down to the battle site, landing near the two corpses. Elm released the magnetic clamps, and hovered out of the jet-bike. Howering over the dead pig beastkin, Elm looked the corpse over, quick to say; "This one is useless, although his equipment could still be salvaged."
After this, it hovered over to the late Sir Brog, hovering over him and scanning the corpse with a series of harmless laser beams from a lens at its underside. "This one is better, but not by much. Let's take it, and have Ultri see what can be done with it." With that said, Elm began working on opening a portal.
While Elm ran through the process of opening a portal, Sam picked up Sir Brog, carrying the corpse in a bridal carry to minimize amount of the blood leaking from the mangled mess spilling on him.
Then, you say with slight annoyance, he could simply place a hand on your back and heal you that way.
After it is done, whatever effect it might have, you set your ship to follow Dave's, then finally allow yourself to fall asleep.

"No, No. That is not how the magic works. Just let me show you." He said taking out a table cloth from the chest on his back and gently wrapping it around Shara before saying some generic magic words. The ribs would then be healed instantly when he said those words and then took off the table cloth off of her chest with one quick gesture.
