Steve picked up a small remote beside the bike's front wheel and clicked a button, turning down the volume of the music from the nearby CD player to a background hum.
"Brilliant things, these." He remarked with a grin and got to his feet, dusting himself down. "Yeah, I'd love to visit London again. And a movie theater should be good. I've seen some modern movies, but never in a theater. Should be an experience." He looked Seras in the eye, and once again knew what it was that she was hoping for. This time he decided to simply address the matter head on.
"So, is this something that I should have asked you first?"
"That would be madness! The trees should at least benefit people in their destruction. Why destroy them out of spite?" Joanna gasped, before shaking her head in disbelief.
"This must be the reason for her bounty. To deprive people of something as important as wood for no reason is terrible. She would have... she would..." Joanna trailed off. She had intended to say something about the forests of her home, but now that she thought about it, she couldn't quite remember if there had been any forests.
