Turning to Alek, "Oh yes, sorry about that, but I believe that time is of the essence, I needed as many hands as possible if we're to get this thing built in time. As for what it does, I have no idea. Joel gave me the blueprints for it, said he got them from someone called 'Doc Sparkle', ring any bells? I'm not even sure Joel knows what it is supposed to do."

Turning back to the Joes, he noticed they've completed the weapon. "Astounding. You men sure are organized, now let's work on attaching this thing to Alek's new toy. You don't mind, do you Alek? Your machine is the only thing large enough to support the weapon."

"No, Preginald, I don't know. The Doc teleported me to a library, gave me the thing, then sent me back right before Kazuya attacked." Joel explained. "Listen, we need to get it mounted and head out soon. Where the hell is Mike?"

Alek looked at it, whatever it was, it's purpose escaped him. "Fine." Alek said he turned to the Lizard. "I am Aleksandr Ferdinand, prince of Austria." It was hardly a secret anymore anyway. "Oh, I have something that will prove quite useful." He rummaged around in his pockets for a minute. Ah ha. There it was. He pulled out a piece of paper. "It's a summary of installations and defenses on Rugal's offshore compound. It isn't fully detailed, but it should provide some vital knowledge." He handed it to Preginald.

Swiftrunner once again learned much of the groups plan of attack only this time there was no way to warn Rugal before they attacked. He was angry that he couldn't pick up the scent of Renlen, that was the other human he had unfinished business with and after his victory over Mike he believed he stood a fairly good chance as weakened he was but werewolves are renowned for swift healing and in the time since his duel with Mike the large gash on his chest had started to close and most of punctures in his side were sealed up.

Joel looked at the plans Alek handed over. "YOU HAD THOSE BEFORE THE ATTACK ON THE HOTEL AND NEVER MENTIONED IT?"

Dromaeus nodded.

"Royalty. I see." Losing interest, he turned his attetnion to Joel.

"The last I saw of the human named Michael, he was inside a ruined building in the city, there was another human firing one of your strange firecasting rods at him."

"I stole these from Rugal's office in the Mishima Building a few minutes before it exploded. I'm sorry if, between the crash landing and the giant monster battle I didn't have the time to inform you that I pocketed the plans. God, you're lucky I remembered them at all."

Joel had an apologetic look on his face. "Oh... well then what was the sheet of paper you hid behind the false panel in your locker in the old stormwalker?"

Looking over the paper Alek handed him, "Fantastic, this will be very useful. I can have my soldiers attack these points here, here and here, that should allow us to be able to get in with minimal effort. Then we can work on flushing Rugal out into the open so Alek can finish him with Doc Sparkle's weapon. Don't get too trigger happy with it though Alek, by my estimation you've got enough power for one shot, so make it count."
Preginald drops a table from an overhead portal and lays the paper down on it, "Unless anyone else can think of a better plan?"

Alek just couldn't believe it. Did he have no secrets left? Knowing his name was one thing, he wasn't even from this world, it hardly mattered, but that scroll. That did matter, a great deal. "It doesn't concern you." Was all he said.

Another human scent caught Swiftrunner's nose. This one unfamiliar and much more distant. How many more would arrive at the beach? At least he was sure this new scent wasn't with the group before him.

Joel rose. "You don't trust me, and you never have! You're all about me being open, but when I reveal your secret plans, all of a sudden privacy is Order Number One. It's a shame that the three people who actually KNOW who you're annoying right now aren't here!"

Alek stiffened a bit. "You're right. I haven't trusted you. Any of you. I can't afford to, any more than I already have. You know who I am which is extraordinarily secret. But this." He pulled out the scroll from his coat pocket. "This is personal. You want it? Fine! Take it!" Alek threw the scroll at Joel. "I hope you can read Latin though."

Joel laughed. "You know nothing of this world!" he pulled out his smartphone, and loaded up google translate. "I can't. But this can." He started copying out the text and said "$50 and I won't press translate."

From his hiding place Swiftrunner viewed the giant machine. Something that could destroy Rugal... Swiftrunner was now considering swimming to Rugals' island just to warn him. The fact that Rugal didn't seem to be as invincible as he seemed caused doubt within Swiftrunner, if Rugal died the tiny chance of returning he had would be lost.

The idea of swimming quickly left his mind; it would take too long. For now he was content to observe the group and recover his strenght then he would board either the giant machine or the flying machine and hitch a ride over to the island. Once closer he would most likely be able to swim unabated to the island and warn Rugal. If the attack commenced instantly he would have to attempt to sabotage that weapon on the giant machine.

"I wouldn't do that, were I you." Alek said, taking back the scroll. "That document will change the course of history. And it is the reason that I am being hunted. That was the secret my father took to his grave. That is why he died."
