Alek slowly made his way off the bus. Julia was crazy. That wasn't much of a surprise, but she was crazier than he had first expected. He needed to put some distance between them, also, he really didn't want to see Eragon naked.

The Merc saw Alek exit the bus. "ARE YOU A PERSON! YES! SO STAY STILL!"

Reasonably satisfied with this answer Will calmed down some. "Do you regularly engage in sexual intercourse with your subordinates?" The mental image made his stomach churn, and the fact that she was till wearing that corset only made things worse.

Alek froze. That one was possibly the craziest of the lot. Best to do what he said, at least until he could find some way out of this. Glumly, Alek trudged back to the bus. This was definitely going to get awkward.

"Hey, Dovahkiin can I borrow your bow for a quick sec?" Joe was getting tired of just sitting here when he could go on adventuring through the complex.

"If I was told to kill you I wouldn't need a bomb, I just need access to your minds and a selection of twelve words that can kill a man with no more energy expended that if I was lifting a finger." He began putting his clothes back on. "Anyway...I'll be leaving soon but I will return, remember the warning." Eragon pulled his pants up."Beware the Library and the colour green." He set about buttoning up his leather tunic.

Dromaeus regarded Joe with amazement.

"No, you cannot borrow my bow! Any more than you could borrow my heart or my lungs!"

The Merc calmed as Alek returned. "Who does have access to explosives? What about that guy," he indicated Alek. "or our host?"
Julia stared at Will. "I regularly have sex with men. Where they work doesn't matter. Not to mention, we work in two separate organisations."
The Merc noticed Eragon raising his pants. "We still haven't finished down there." he growled, raising an ice-coated fist.

 

[Arrogancy]

Alek heard Dromaeus and Eragon talking about dragons. That made him pause. He'd heard that the Darwinists had been trying to fabricate one for years, but no efforts had been successful. It was unlikely that either of them knew anything about the Darwinist war efforts, so the only conclusion that was mildly plausible was that they were discussing actual dragons. He was somewhat worried that that idea no longer seemed quite so mad anymore. "I'd like to learn more about dragons." He asked Dromaeus. The Merc was going off about who could have done it, implicating him. "I don't have access to explosives." Alek said, defending himself. That was technically true, he left most of them back on the Imperial Eagle. "The truth is, any of us could have detonated that bomb."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Ok ok, ya that was crossing the line." Joe scratched the back of his head, looking at Dovahkiin. "It's fine."

Joe quickly drew a bow and arrow, secured a portal drawing to the arrow tip, and launched it out the bus.

It nearly got to the end wall before sliding on the floor and coming to a rest near a hallway. "Well if you guys need me, just call on the radio, but I'm going exploring."

The Merc turned to see Joe jump through a portal in the bus and hop out near the hallway. He then ran off into the hallway with a loud "WOOHOO!!"

"Argonian." Dromaeus snarled, as the Merc referred to him as a lizard.

"Not true. I, nor this man here" the Merc indicated Will. "Could have. It was obviously meant for Julia, and both of us know she had changed rooms. I believe she shared with the lizard. You, however, nearly shot me when I entered your room after the bombing, and seem to mistrust Julia. Therefore, you are the second most-likely suspect. Maybe we should check you for Joel's corruption..."

Eragon sighed, these heroes were a funny lot. After rebuckling his armour and returning his weapons to his person he said "I will return later or when you need me most" Reaching into his pocket he retrieved a ring and gave it to Dromaeus. "Take this, if you wear it it will tell me when any of you are in trouble." Noticing that the lizard had a ring on his hand he said "Its not like you can only wear one is it?" He laughed for the first time in front of the heroes.

"Sweeping his cloak around him he said "Always be wary of Joel but be mindful of a Library also" He then jumped out the window he had destroyed and left.
