"Let's just go to the conference room, ok?" Alek asked, glad that the brawl had been broken up. With that he turned and left the bus. The complex was fascinating. It was almost completely steel and electriks, far more advanced than anything he had ever seen. He doubted that he would ever get totally used to such sights. Without thinking, Alek began wandering around, just inspecting the fascinating machines.

"Nobody 'led me out'. I left. Turns out, it's not so hard. We had a whole thing about fire safety at work." Julia said, walking with the Merc off the bus

Will saw Alek exit the bus and enter the compound. Deciding he would rather be with him than any of the others, he followed and they roamed the complex together in silence.

Despite himself, Dromaeus was impressed by the scale of the structures he was seeing. Though Preginald was talking animatedly about how each machine worked, much of what he said was alien to Dromaeus. The structure still reminded him of a Dwemer ruin, though he had been in enough of them to know that the architectural style was deiiferent, and that this place was even more advanced.

"...And on our right you will see the greatest bouncy-castle in the totality of existence. I took it as a trophy from the clown dimension. They say its power is so great that it is impossible to not enjoy yourself while inside."

Julia looked at the bouncy castle. "Must... disprove... people... by not... having... FUN!" she said, sprinting towards it.

 

[Random berk]

Dromaeus stepped to one side as Julia sprinted past towards the large, soft 'castle'.

"What a strange artifact." he said as she started bouncing. "Being thrown around like that is considered enjoyable in your world? It reminds me of the effects of one of my Shouts."

OOC: Got to go, I'll be back later."

"Well when you two are done, head over to the conference room. I've some things to take care of." Preginald heads off towards City Hall.

OOC: I'm off for now. Might be back later today, but probably won't.

Alek was glad that the General had decided to join him. He was also glad that he didn't feel the need to speak. The silence was a welcome change of pace. Some of the equipment in the complex looked vaguely familiar, albeit more streamlined and utilizing different power sources. Elektricity had become prominent in this world, and he hadn't seen any steam-driven machinery. It was curious, but he knew that science move forward and find new sources of power, but this was still shocking. Suddenly, he heard a clamor of voices, but they didn't sound deadly. They had, rather, sounded happy. Oddly, Alek found that more worrying. As he and Sherman began walking toward the sounds.

OOC: It appears that most people who were there have left. Perhaps Will and Alek could just chat?

OOC: I actually was just about to leave to get some food. Sorry. Be back in a bit.

"So Hunter, seeing as there's nothing important going on, might I ask about where you come from?" Will asked as he, Alek and Hunter watched the other play with what they called a 'bouncy castle'.

The Merc walked up to Julia. "Hey... hey... are you going to stop soon?"
"I... Can't... *pant* stop... until... I don't *gasp*... have fun."
The Merc facepalmed, turned and walked to the others. "We've lost her."

Alek turned to Hunter, "What exactly is a deathclaw? Some kind of Darwinist beast?" Alek asked, curious of his new companion.
