Dromaeus chuckled.
"Hot headed then." He tore into the plate of fish. This is quite a lair our host has built. I've been exploring for hours." He glanced over at Eragon.

"So, Rider, tell us more about this dragon of yours."

Finishing his apple Eragon threw the core into the bin. He then got up and sat cross legged on the table. CLosing his eyes he let the barriers around his mind fall and his consiousness spread out. He immediatly felt the minds of those in the cafeteria and tried to only brush over them but he could feel the odd twinge of discomfort. He felt a rat scurrying in its hole but little else...there was no noise of nature here but Eragon had to meditate often to calm himself.

His meditation was disturbed by a question from Dromaeus. Opening his eyes he began "Saphira is my dragon and shes about the size of a house now and still growing" He gave a small chuckle. "She thinks herself the most beautiful and deadly hunter in Alagasia and I'm inclined to believe her." It was easy to talk about Saphira now, his worry about her disappearance had faded and was now replaced with an impetous desire to find her. "She has scales every shade of blue which shine brilliantly in the sun." A smile crept across his face as he continued. "Its like each scale catches the light and makes it twist and dance through the air" He faced Dromaeus and said "Do not think her tame however, she takes great thrill in hunting and killing her prey and is savagely graceful on the battlefield."

He uncrossed his legs and slid off the bench before standing up. "I doubt anyone has met a person like her let alone a dragon like her." Eragon said.

"Well... you heard him Omega we should get going." Joe looked down at Omega, offering a hand to pick him up.

"Oh can we slide one more time?" Omega asked.
"I don't think Preginald would like us doing that..." Joe replied.

Joe slipped through the doors of the vault as he did before, and was greeted with a full presence of security forces. "Well hey there guys, what's the big commotion about?"

Alek watched Eragon perch on a table near them, and go into some sort of trance. Curious. Of all his acquaintances, Eragon might be among the most interesting. "Does anyone else know what he's doing?" Alek asked, breaking the silence. What was going to happen next? Alek mentally made a note of the best way to the exit from his seat, as he took a sip from his water.

"I'll admit to that." Will replied. Looking at the cross legged Eragon he said "Not sure what he's doing. Strange that he just came here to do this."

Dromaeus flicked his tail back and forth lazily as he pondered Eragon's smile of admiration and love.

"I would certainly never think of a Dovah as tame." He said. "The many that I have met were proud, violent creatures. I am not sure I would consider them beautiful. Imposing, awe inspiring, perhaps. The way you talk about your dragon, she must be somewhat different from those that I have met, or slain."

"That must be quite a task." Alek said to Dromaeus, keeping his eye on Eragon. "How does one kill a dragon, precisely? Especially without, I presume, any heavy cannons or machine guns."

Eragon replied "Where I come from dragons are revered and rare, for a time I believed Saphira to be the last but the evil king Galbatorix had two other unhatched eggs." Pondering the lengthy history lesson he may have been about to deliver he summarised simply. "In my world the Dragons give some of their eggs to the other races of the land. The eggs have a spell placed over them which means they will only hatch if they deem the person who finds them worthy of being their rider." At the mention of slaying a dragon Eragon went stiff slightly. "I have only fought two other dragons both controlled against their will but I have never killed one. Beore arriving here I, as the eldest rider in the land, set about a plan to rebuild the Dragons as a race and the Dragon riders as an organisation." He was going he to hopeless detail but the talk loosened Eragons mood.

"It was rather difficult at first." Dromaeus agreed. "The trick is getting them on the ground, without being killed by their shouts. You need to find cover from which you can shoot them with arrows without being exposed. Of course, hitting a flying dragon with an arrow is very difficult as well, it takes patience. When you do bring them down, you must deliver as much damage as possible. Using knives to tear their wings apart, or a heavy battleaxe or warhammer to smash their skull in. They are of course, very dangerous on the ground too. I've seen dragons deal horrific damage with their jaws. Fortunately, Ysgramor is strong enough to withstand them quite nicely." He patted the rim of the shield in his satchel. "To date I have slain... about 35, I believe."

As Dromaeus spoke, he listened to Eragon's story as well.
"Dragons in Tamriel and Alagaesia are clearly seen in different lights indeed."

"Or you could just launch a mini nuke at them" hunter added interested by the topic "they'll stay down after there hit with that"
"I do not know anything of this, 'mini nuke' that you speak of."

"I'd prefer to fight from a dreadnought class walker. My Imperial Eagle should suffice for most tasks." Alek said. "It's good to see you're up, Eragon."

Eragon nodded towards Alek. "Thank you Alek I tend to meditate often, it allows me to feel the energy and minds of those around me and I cease to be me I become" He gestured outwards "everything" If there wasn't so few animals here anyway.

Eragon began moving the benches out of the way to create a ring of sorts. "Anyone here a swordsmen?" He asked while continuing his task.

"Yes." Alek responded, with some apprehension. He didn't know what Eragon planned, and he wasn't entirely convinced that it would be anything good. "Why?"

Finishing moving the tables Eragon said "Yes, I havn't sparred against a competant swordsman in a while and I need to see if I'm still in practice." He drew his weapon and motioned along the blade while saying "Gëuloth du knífr" An aura appeared around the weapon. "A simple spell that sheates the blade in an aura to prevent us from decapitating one another." Eragon explained before motioning towards Dromaeus' sword.

"Feel free to duel me afterwards" He adressed everyone else. "The more practice the better and not just for me." Eragon finished with a smile.

Dromaeus drew his sword and held it out so that Eragon could place his ward on the blade, removing Ysgramor from his satchel with the other hand.

"A useful spell, if you practice against allies." He offered Mehrune's Razor as well.

"Best to do the same with this, just in case."
