"SHUT UP!!" Joe's face shifted to an angry expression complete with eye strain lines and eye brows crossed passed his head. He had been pushed around by Joel one time too many, nothing was going to stop him until he vented his frustration.
As Dromaeus considered what could have been done, he noticed the human approaching, and asked his questions.
"I am Dromaeus of Black-Marsh." He responded. I am an Argonian, a reptilian race native to the area, unrelated to the men and mer of Tamriel. I am also a master assassin, thief, and the Dovahkiin, Dragonborn. That means I have the soul of a dragon, and the Voice too. Who are you? Joe, perhaps you should not do that."
Joel turned and saw Joe. "The hell? Uh... I'll be... bad thing... um." he stammered.
Joel's fur once again turned armour-like, and his muscles tore through his clothes. "Really want to do this, Joe?" he asked.
"You have been pushing me around this entire time!? I wanted to protect everyone, you slam me into the ground. I protest, you flatout ignore me and throw me through a window! I get hurt by the very thing I wanted to protect everyone from! AND I'M COMPLETELY IGNORED!! I've had it."
Joe reaches into his pocket, pulling out a piece of paper, Joe's lines start to turn bold, thickening.
'Soul of a Dragon?' Mat thought 'Dragonborn?' Was this Dromaeus a false Dragon? "Thom Grinwell." Mat said, he needed to learn more about this Dromaeus, "I'm a hunter for the Horn of Valere. I'm an Andorman from Whitebridge. So you're Dragonborn? I'm afraid I only know of one dragon, the Dragon Reborn." Mat wondered what reaction this would provoke, and prepared for anything.
Joel shrugged. "Have it your way. I mean, from a purely technical standpoint I'm death incarnate, but let's do this."
Joel grabbed Joe's throat, and lifted him, before flapping his newly-emerged wings and flying above the city. Tentacles wrapped around Joe's legs and arms.
"Any last requests?"
"Dragon Reborn? Not Alduin or any of his horde?" As Dromaeus spoke, he reached into his satchel, ready to help Joe if he had to, and suppressing a grin at the thought of getting to carry out his trick on Joel after all. Just then, Joel grabbed Joe and flew high into the air. Dromaeus wondered if Joe's boast of immortality was true, and decided he didn't want to find out. He thought he might have just the Shout for the job too.
"Ya! Have a taste of your own medicine you asshole!!" Joe sprouts tentacles from his back, throwing the paper away. Joe's tentacles grabs Joel's wings sending them both into a freefall.
'Alduin?' Perhaps that was the false Dragon, but then what was Dromaeus talking about? "I don't know of any Alduin, either." Mat said, "Some warlord?" Just then, Dromaeus said something and a surge of power flew forward. "Mother's milk in a cup!" He cursed. Could Dromaeus channel?
Joel pulled Joe into the ground with him and began smashing him in the face. "I. Didn't. Want. To. Do. This."
Joel's radio crackled. "Ma'am, we received a report of a nuclear missile strike from Russia."
Joel raised his paws and brought them down.
As Joel's fur turned armor like, and he grew wings, he began to have more than a passing resemblance to Jack Noir, enough of a resemblance that the Wayward Vagabond dived back behind the bin to try to hide.
One of Joe's tentacles launch over to Thom's cloak. As they touch the cloak, it pulls some of the green from the cloak. Another green sword forms from the cloak, Joe then lashes out at Joel with it.
"You've had this coming, you've endangered my own times before, I don't care if you don't want to, I'm not stopping until I'm satisfied."
(Joel threw one of the Joes at Rugal in the final battle)
Artie grabbed the staff and yanked it from Dromaeus. "No. I'll do it. JOEL! Fetch!" he said, throwing a bone.
Joel looked up. "You really think... ah fuck it." He rose and walked off to get the bone.
Dromaeus turned, ready to bawl Artie out, but the words died in his throat as Joel actually went to fetch the bone! Dromaeus wordlessly held his hand out for the Wabbajack.
"It would not have killed him, merely stopped him from harming Joe."
