OOC: I brought in an exceptionally OP antagonist from the "Wheel of Time" series. I doubt even Joel could kill him, death or no.

OOC: Awww now I want to fight your guy might need Saphira first though but that might be going to far

OOC: The guy I brought in is an amalgamation of pure evil, chaos, and destruction with near-limitless capacity and power to kill. His very presence makes people erratic, paranoid, and distrustful. That's just the beginning.

I'll definatley need Saphira then....and Glaedr's Eldunari (Yes Eragon brought it with him for those who know who Glaedr is...lets just say his silence is due to adjusting to the world.)

"Do you need any help?" Mat called to the new man outside. He was wearing some sort of armor that Mat didn't recognize. 'Interesting.' He thought. He made a mental note to ask about its make later, perhaps he could buy a few sets once he won Preginald's emerald.

OoC: Guess I might as well ask, are you guys still in that field, or did you came it to New York?

"I found that woman." Takashi noted then looked at the house as it collapsed finally from the structure damage. He sighed. For the first time in his life, he'd manage to prove useful to one of the group's endeavors.

He realized he'd never recollected his weapons and went about arming himself, trading the scissors with his trench knives, picking up his baseball bat, the assault rifle and the pistol.

"Well then," Mat said, he was a bit uneasy leaving potentially wounded victims, but there were more pressing matters to attend to. "If that's it then we should be off. There's a war that awaits us."

Joe finally saw the Statue of Liberty in the distance. "We're here!!" He shouted to Omega as they both flew over the expanding city. "I wonder where the others are, or did I really beat Preginald's hoverbus?"

Joe twisted the cannon ball, and stood on the circle part opposite of the direction of travel. The cannon ball slowed down until it finally started to flutter like a piece of paper, slowly descending to the ground.

Eragon began meditating on the bus to calm his thoughts. The floodgates of his mind opened and he spilled outwards becoming aware of everything nearby. He still couldn't detect Thom's mind and he had avoided his question of how. Joel's mind was shouded and dark, what few thoughts and memories he saw he wish he hadn't. The new comers mind was familiarly easy to read, as was Takashi's. Dromaeus had been practicing and as he felt Eragon's consiousness wash over him he threw up his mental barriers, thinking of only one maske this time instead of nine. " Admirable but unecassary I am simply meditating." Dromaeus' mind relaxed and Eragon continued on, felling the minds of the innocents that had been spared through the combined actions of the group. He felt the lingering life energy of those then couldn't save and mentally cursed Joel. He felt the nearby plants and scarc animals and was relieved to feel their presance instead of the harsh humanoid minds he had become accustomed to. For now he wasn't Eragon, he was the entire area around them.

Joe's cannon ball landed on top of one of the buildings in Time Square. "Look at all these people!!" Joe and Omega looked down the edge of the roof to see the hustle and bustle of the people below.

 

[Arrogancy]

"Join the bloody club." Mat grumbled. He grabbed his spear and began sharpening it. Technically, he didn't need to. The ashandarei was made with the One Power, it would never break or dull. Still, he'd rather not leave anything to chance. The medallion on his chest grew cold again. Whoever the channeler was, he was using his power again. His best guess was Eragon, the odd man had something of an air about him. In some ways, Mat realized, he reminded him of Rand.

OOC: I think that Eragon meditating is similar to Artie and Joel's powers, so I'm going to do something to do with that.

Artie felt a wave of spiritual energy wash over him. He didn't recognise it, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. He focused his own energy on the spiritual plane.
"Hey. Who are you again?" he asked the figure that was the source of the energy.

Artemis adressed Eragon and he replied It's me, Eragon, when I meditate my conciousness spills outwards and I become one with all the living beings in my surroundings, forgive my intrusion He said mentally.

Joe turned back, sitting just in front of the ledge, looking at the cannon ball drawing. Like most creations it was just black and white.

"Help me make a sign for the others to see if they haven't gotten here yet. It's a big city, might as well narrow their search for us to meet up, then we'll go and eat in that buffet over there!" Joe pointed to the 'Bubba Gump Shrimp' restaurant on the other side of Times Square.

They started to draw Joe's face with a cheesy smile, and a shrimp in his mouth on the back of the cannon ball. (It'll show Joe's face when done, the door on the front of the cannon ball would have messed the picture up.)

Right. That's basically what I do too. It's where my powers come from. Joel's too. I think we could learn a lot from one another.

OOC: If your wondering about Eragon's age btw hes about 15-16 but he looks about 20 after his transformation in the second book.
