Urai, aware the creature had been firing blindly, possibly out panic, kicks the martian away to a nearby ditch and returns to the fight with the divers.

OOC: Maybe the characters next to Delta should talk after this, realize they are in the same boat, and thus cancel out later PvP fights. Any other ideas?

Alek snapped back into reality from his odd trance. "That was odd." He muttered aloud. In the distance he saw the odd, well-dressed machine that he spoke with earlier, behind it was some very heavy-duty looking equipment. Ok, but how is PvP balanced? Urai is from a Star Wars strategy game where he can cloak, auto heal and kill AT-ATs with his blades. What stopped me from saying that I cloaked and then killed MartianWarMachine in response to post 461? Heck, everything I just listed in terms of power is canon.
OOC: That's acceptable as a consequence of death, but if two players fight with guns, then there should be conditions for victory other than being the first to type "And then I shot my enemy in the head". That wouldn't make for a fair system. For now though, it could be left as player vs npc only. The revelation of your enemy as your daughter has made for a very awkward and interesting scenario, by the way. How will it proceed?SUBJECT_DELTA said:

I shielded my face against the sudden blast of heat, and gaped awestruck at the massive spectral figure, completely forgetting about the grenade about to detonate nearby.

Alek looked up. Well, he thought, Amaya finally woke up. Still, at least he wasn't fighting and there were spare parts right over the next hill, he just knew it. Once he made it to the machines grouped over the next rise he'd be able to get the walker back, good as new.
The giant manifestation surrounding the female was clearly magic. She would be Swiftrunners target but not now as he had no means to overcome such power. Two metal suited warriors were approached by another and so Swiftrunner made his own approach.
