The new woman reminded Mat vaguely of Aviendha. It was probably the look that she was about to kill the nearest man who set her off. Still, she was good looking though. Mat approached her when things began to calm down. "Hello," He said making a grand, sweeping bow for theatric effect. "I am Matrim Cauthon. Who might you be?"
Elsewhere:
"We believe that Mat Cauthon is near the odd craft that has just landed in the city." The commissioner gave the report to the liaison. The man did little else but call up Mr. Mordreth and inform him of the hunt. The man jumped out of his seat at the news. "Then call in everything, SWAT teams, helicopters, armored cars. The works. Mat Cauthon must be taken into custody at once. Alive." The commissioner nodded stiffly. "And the civilians in the area?" "They don't matter." He snapped, getting his coat. "Sir-" The commissioner argued. "I said they don't matter. If you can't follow orders, then I'll report you to Mr. Mordreth!" The commissioner didn't like it, but the calls were made. He'd need to find out about this 'Mordreth' though.
