Will saw a large amount of, what he assumed were, police officers firing on a some of his companions. There were several new faces in the mix as well. He took out his rifle and took cover behind a car.
Eragon had grown tired of the barrage of bullets and quickly spread his mind out among the attacking men. Once he had connected with them all Eragon said once more "Deyja" and the attacking officers all fell limp to the floor, their hearts stopped. Eragon fell briefly to his knees after the spell but recovered quickly. "There, it is done." Eragon said.
Will had been doing his best to hit the police officers discreetly so none would notice where he was, and he was quite successful at it. Suddenly all the remaining officers dropped to the ground, apparently dead. He smirked 'Eragon, I assume.' he thought as he stood up from behind cover.
The green light sword had now burned a serious hole into the asphalt, the smell finally hit the heroes' noses.
"Any idea who sent those men." Eragon asked the group as he kicked over the limp corpse of a officer. They were knowingly sent to their death. Eragon felt WIll's mind and his question. Yes Will that was me He admitted grimly with his mind.
