Eragon had left the tank when the new attackers arrived and began to move up to where the others were fighting.

OOC: This fight shouldn't take long. Eldar rarely deploy in large numbers. Random my knowledge of 40k almost spills over into worship of the lore same with ME and DA:O. I'm one of those insufferable people who gets annoyed when people pronounce Macragge wrong or (Looks threataningly at Jaguar) thinks assault marines are wearing jet packs.

After cutting through the last batarians still fighting, Travis noticed some new threat emerging from a portal of some kind. "And the fun just doesn't stop!" Travis charged the Eldar lines headfirst, not even needing to block any shots as they were preoccupied dealing with what appeared to be a dinosaur wearing armor plowing through them and firing a shotgun.

OOC: In that case, tell me: Would an Eldar Farseer be able to survive a direct headshot from a Widow anti material rifle?

OOC: Survive? No. Legion will have a hard time hitting her though between Fortune and Runes of Warding she can effectively predict when the bullet is fired and dodge it and any shots that she can't dodge will be stopped by the runes of warding or her rune armour. Eldar Farseers are complete and utter physcic beasts far outclassing Eragon's mental ability. Pin her down though and shes relatively brittle physicaly.

Alastair was in the libary. "What..... the.... hell...... its glowing GREEN!" He shouted at the top of his voice before he collasped to the floor and then standing up again. "Rak na jest..." His words were silenced cause that magic would not work here. He saw a shadowed man in a grand armchair.

Shepard and Grunt tore through the Eldar lines side by side, their weapons roaring, biotic blasts and massive limbs smashing the enemy aside like ragdolls. At that moment, the alien leader moved in. It raised a hand and pointed at Shepard, only to flinch and glance over her shoulder. Shepard looked back, following its gaze to where Legion lay on the Mako aiming his rifle. He fired again, but the tall alien simply sidestepped it.

"What the hell, Legion? I thought you never miss!"
Our computing subroutines are never inaccurate, Shepard-Commander. The error in trajectory occurred at 99.97759% of the intended distance."
"Meaning what?"
"It blocked the slug."
"Well thats just great." Shepard turned and opened fire on the Farseer, but it merely weaved around the slugs. Those that it didn't avoid, simply didn't hit it. It pointed a hand at her again, but before it could do anything, Grunt ploughed into its side.

Eragon caught up with the others to find them fighting suprisingly elegant warriors. Each one wore complex armour of white and green with two struts rising from the back of the armour. Their weapons spat out micro-blades that even with Eragon's enhanced sight he could only just make them out. As the graceful warriors fell back, they did so around a robed figure holding a eldritch staff. Her cape billowed in some unseen wind, impossible in this vacuum thought Eragon. He reached forth his mind to subdue her and learn why she was here and why she was fighting the group. No sooner had his mind brushed against hers a mental assault of great magnitude fell upon Eragon's mind. He screamed in pain as he fell to the floor, barely able to throw his mental barriers in time and there he remained battered by the mental onslaught of the alien conciousness.

The Farseer distracted Xavier rang out a burst of bolter bullets and one managed to injure the farseer's arm. Eragon was flinching in pain and Xavier ran to treat the man. " Unharmed. " Xavier said as he stood up to return fire at the eldar.

Shepard rushed to help Eragon stand as the heavily armoured man did the same.
Meanwhile, Grunt brought the Farseer to the ground. His head began to swim and his blood burned, but he ignored the intense, quickly growing pain and smashed a massive fist into the creature's helmet, which buckled. The mental onslaught weakened, so he did it again. He punched, and punched, before grabbing his shotgun and slamming the butt into the helmet over and over. It caved in and blood started to ooze from the cracks, and at the same time, a number of rounds struck the alien in the arm. It went limp and Grunt began to stand, but the body exploded, and caused him to stumble back in shock, his kinetic barrier disabled and his armour peppered with shrapnel.
"What the hell?!"

OOC: Bolter shots or 'Bolts' are uranium tipped high caliber slugs fired from Bolters and Bolt pistols (Alistairs weapon) If the oversized rounds don't completelely tear the target apart and the round is stopped by armour or tough bone it will explode a second or so later.

The mental onslaught abated and Eragon rose clutching his head. He looked around at the carnage. He hadn't been much use this fight he thought. "Whatever that creature was it was incredibly powerful." He said from within his magical bubble.

Omicron ran to Eragon's side and placed a hand on his head. "His pain receptors are incredibly active, but the pain seems to be originating... there. His mind is in pain... curious." "So... he's imagining the pain?" "No, it's more like someone is pushing his brain's 'pain button'. Interesting."
"Eragon, would you like a painkiller?" Omicron asked as the other Deltas arrived.

"After what your painkillers did to Joe, maybe he should just take some medigel." Shepard said. Grunt approached, drenched in Eldar gore.
"Now that was a fight." he growled.

Sofia was still on the ship talking to The Girls of Shepards crew. "So is that Alastair your father?" Said one. "Yeah." Sofia replied but was rudley inturupted by laughter. "He is the worst man ever." One of them said before blurting out laughing. Sofia grabbed her Space Marine suit and equiped it before jumping onto the moon.

"That was a sedative. I'm offering him very strong aspirin. He isn't injured, his brain is being told he's in pain. No idea how. Also, I stand by my treatment of Joe." Omicron explained.

OOC: I'm just being incredibly nit picky to be honest, I try not to be but I seriously nerd out for 40k I've got techno babbles like you wouldn't believe and physcic babbles that are even as ridiculous. If we ever find ourselves in need of a villain I've got one lined up and hes from 40k.

Eragon looked at those around him. "I'll be alright." He straightened up. "I was able to get my barriers up before she killed me...which is strange. Usually a mental attack is used to subdue and control a target so they can't retalliate with magic in the split second they have before a spell kills them but this...this was like a battle raged against my mind. A mind war that would not have subdued my mind but destroyed it." He looked at Omicron. "A painkiller does sound good actually." He admitted.
