"Wh...what? He did what?" Shepard said, shocked by the General's revelation. She took a quick glance around at the wrecked machines.
"He attacked children? You can't be serious. He... really?"

OOC: He also shows great experience in commanding troops, and until recently, he was wearing a Union officer's uniform. I don't know, we can stop calling him that if you want.

"I feel much better now by the way, now where is this guy so I can pound the stuffing out of him for attacking kids..?" Joe makes the motion of rolling up his sleeves to his elbows.

"I wasn't around. That's just what I was told." Will said to Shepard. He turned to Joe. "You doubt my sanity? You can see the evidence all around us. In fact...I should get some people to clean this mess up." Will said. He ordered some soldiers to take care of the debris from the battle. "I wouldn't go and start beating people just yet Joe. It was one of those delta soldiers who told me."

OOC: Very good point. I'll try to be more forgiving of it in the future.

 

[Random berk]

"Thats good." Shepard said to Joe, barely hearing him in the first place. Her hand went to her Carnifex.
"I think the next time he wakes, I'll interrogate him personally."

OoC: Hehe no no Joe was talking about Alistar with that "And people call me insane" comment.

After hearing William's words he stopped short. "Alright, can I help with anything then... I've been sleeping too much." Joe thought for a moment. "Actually if you guys don't need me, I'll go make a hotel for everyone to live in."

 

[Arrogancy]

OOC: I thought the plot moved back around NYC. In one of jaguar's posts he said that Alastair and Sophia ran back to the city.

OoC: To be honest, I remember seeing that... BUT I still barely understood half of what Jaguar did today... so if you guys want Joe can be dreaming all of this? And realize that no one of the group is there, and that everyone is in NYC except him.

OOC: I'm comfortable leaving things the way they are. We can sort the plot out tomorrow.

OOC: Fair enough, then. However, that means that I can't act on anything until the plot gets sorted through.

A thought suddenly occurred to Will. "It seems we are missing some one..." he said as he rubbed his chin in thought. "Mat!" he exclaimed as he snapped his fingers. He called over a solider and ordered him to send a helicopter to New York and begin broadcasting a message to Mat over a loudspeaker. He also gave a description of Mat and the soldier set off. Soon a helicopter took off toward the city.

OOC: That should do it. Just lead the chopper to your position in a post. Might as well pick up those other three if they are still with you.

"Alright!!" Joe claps his hands together. "I'm making a giant hotel for everyone, anyone have any suggestions?" Joe cracks his neck, reaching deep into his pocket.

 

[Arrogancy]

OOC: Alright.

Mat saw the air machine descend. Probably just some vehicle come to check on the situation in the city. Probably. It wasn't a word he was willing to risk his life on. Mat crept along the streets until a figure came into sight.

He was a young man in a military uniform, unless Mat was mistaken. He nervously looked along the half-destroyed streets before picking up his pace. "Hey," Mat called, stepping out behind him. The man jumped, but quickly realized that he wasn't a threat. "What are you doing here?" Mat asked.

"Mr. Cauthon," The soldier said, "I was sent by General Sherman, I'm supposed to pick you up. The helicopter is waiting nearby." That was convenient, Mat thought.

"Fine, but is there room for another three? We may have some company."

The soldier looked back, "Uh, yeah, we have enough room. Three should fit easily."

"Good." Mat said, "I'll be back in a minute." He raced back along the path he came, just as one of the men was handing the mother her newborn baby. Within a few minutes they were on board the helicopter and taking off to the refugee camp.

OOC: Oh yeah. Forgot about that whole 'mother going into labor' thing...

"If your going to make a place for people to stay, just make sure it's functional. No need to make it into a fancy resort, just a place to keep our heads dry." Will told Joe

 

[Arrogancy]

The helicopter landed at the camp a few minutes after it took off from the city. Mat bounded out before it fully touched the ground the others waiting until the landing was more certain. It didn't take long to find Sherman and Joe. "General," Mat called, "You sent a man to look for me I'm touched, and a bit mad, may I say. You should have sent at least a squadron."

"Yes Sir!" Joe salutes Will for a second. "Haha I feel silly doing that!" Joe said as he grabbed out a oversized pencil. "One rather large, not too fancy hotel for everyone coming up!" Joe shouted as he stepped into a sumo wrestle foot stance, throwing both his hands up in the air still holding the giant pencil.

"Well I wasn't sure if you were still alive. And besides, I can't be sending soldiers out on wild goose chases." Will replied to Mat.
