"To the Easter perimeter! The camp is under attack!" Shepard screamed into her comms system. Swapping th Carnifex for her Locust submachine gun, she ducked behind the concrete foundations of the fence and began firing short bursts, the long ranged shots tearing into chaos arinees long before they got close enough to use their bolters. Her other squadmates rushed forward to do the same, while Legion Garrus and Thane entered the hotel to snipe from the windows.

Nyask was hurt but not as much. He started on Garrus. Myar slashed against Shepard. Myar was winning his fight and Nyask was strangling Garrus. Nyask had a spear ready to stab the ever so gullible team. "NO!" A voice inside him said. Nyask was thrown aside Xaiver pounced on top of him and began to punch him. Nyask lunged for the kill and slashed his systems offline. Xavier pulled off his helmet and resumed fighting.

 

[Random berk]

OOC: Garrus is nowhere near the fighting. He's using his sniper rifle.

Shepard danced around Myar easily, her speed and grace in close combat outmatching the lord in his massive clunky armour. She blasted his armour with warp attacks, dragged him off balance with pulls, and at one point got in behind him, drew her pistol and jammed it in the back of his knee, the slug tearing through the weak joint with ease. Myar fell on his knees with a roar of pain.

Myar turned and stabbed Shepard right in the thigh. "BLOOD HAS! BEEN! SPILT!" He screamed before running to help his comrades.


OOC: No Garrus was on his way but then Nyask jumped him and i was writing when you posted. Shepard is still alive just crippled.

Epsilon looked at the massive soldier attacking Xavier, and pulled out a small chip. My time to shine...
He sprinted, dodging the bullets while being covered by Gamma and Theta, jumped over Nyask and grabbed his neck, looking for a small port. He found something, and slipped the chip in. He jumped off, and ran away.

"Okay... that's going offline. That too. Maybe I should open that hand. Ooh, life support. Should I? Hey, tinman, can I turn off your life support?"

Saphira had leapt upon the chaos marines, Eragon's wards protected her from their bolter fire as she burned and cleaved the dark warriors apart. Eragon started to attack Nyask with Brisingr, trading blows with the Chaos Lord.

OOC: Trilby Nyask and Myar would both be wearing master-crafted power armour that most likely wold have been warped, blessed and strenghened by Chaos. They wouldn't have usb ports or anything.

OOC: No Jaguar. Garrus is one of the team snipers. He is not one of the members who went to the fence. He is in the hotel, sniping. Oh, and Myar has a bullet through his knee, he's not really in any condition to be running. The shot was through the back of his knee, there has to be a relatively exposed bit there, or else he wouldn't be able to move his knees.

Shepard screamed in pain and stumbled back as the blade sliced into her thigh. Her armour stopped the worst of the blow, but it was a still a deep wound. Samara stepped in to protect her as her suit's medigel system kicked in, sealing the wound and dulling the pain.

OOC: Hes not Ahriman though. Ahriman is a sorcerer not a lord but Jaguar is correct. Shepards weapons would damage the armour but not penetrate and the armour has in built coagulants and pain suppresents couple with his inhuman resistance and genetic augmentation not to mention the blessings of the Chaos god of battle.

Nyask muttered under his breath. " Your freind suffered, Greatly. He is still screaming!" Nyask said as he slashed again at Eragon. "STOP! No Nyask NO!" Alastair said as he controled Nyask to walk away from the battle.

OOC: I know its just that looks like his armour.

Shepard gathered her team around her once the medigel had done its job. Grunt stepped in front of Myar, while Shepard, Samara and Jack urrounded him, and began to exert a powerful warp field on his armour. It started to grow brittle, and they kept at it, trying to make it weak enough that it would shatter from a slug impact. Grunt hefted a chain axe that he had grabbed from a dead chaos marine.

Theta started firing his sniper rifle at the Chaos. "It looks like that one is retreating... and where is Alastair?" he said over the radio.

Eragon pulled away from Myar as Shepard's team moved in. He added his own spell to their onslaught; worded to buckle and weaken the armour while supressing the Chaos Lord.

 

[Random berk]

As Shepard, Eragon, Samara and Jack weakened Lord Myar's armour at a rapidly increasing rate, Grunt circled him. With a roar he lunged with the axe held over his head and brougt it down, only to have it blocked by Myar's sword. Myar tried to counter attack, but with his huge armour, even Grunt was faster, hopping back out of the way and striking Myar's forearm with the chain axe.

Myar was sorruounded. He fell britle and his ribs caved in. He fell with a thud.


OOC: Thats me for an hour be back soon Alastair/Nyask is in Downtown.

Myar's armour started to crackle and the axe bit into his arm. He jerked back with a bellow of pain, losing is balance as he did so. Grunt snarled with triumph and went for a side swing to the ribs. The axe ripped through his armour like drywall and Myar went to his knees, spitting blood which dripped down from his helmet. Grunt finished him off with another overhead swing that cut through the helmet and cleaved his head in two.

"I. AM. KROGAN!!!" he roared, elated by his brutal victory.

Eragon ended his spell as Myar fell. He stood panting as Saphira came across to the group having finished off the rest of 12 or so Chaos Marines that attacked. "Such darkness and evil, their very minds are twisted and black." Eragon said sheathing his sword.

OOC: I wish Jaguar hadn't introduced Chaos marines this way. usually chaos invasions begin with cultists and Heretics. Each Chaos marine has likely been alive for anywhere between 200-800 years and has been fighting for all that time and we're bumping them off like it was nothing.

"That just makes them all the more fun to kill." Grunt growled. "Where are the rest? I'm not done fighting yet." He revved the chain axe several times.
"Think I'll keep this."

OOC: Tell him to make their appearance a small scale thing then. I don't particularly find the idea of a full on war with them very interesting anyway, considering the amount of effort it takes to bring down just one Lord. One of them survived a direct hit from the Thanix cannon, for Christ'ssake. That gun can take out a dreadnought. Armour or not, it doesn't even make sense that there was anything left of him.

OOC: I only did that because as Chaos Lord's are immune to instant death due to favour of the Dark Gods. If a champion earns the favour of the dark gods they may intervine to stop a fatal attack only to let them die a glorious death in true battle.
