We haven't been able to find out wheter its by design or by accident. Things have been going very badly in this world since it started though. It seems that this place was basically the same as Earth in the early 21st century, but a number of the individuals brought here have tried to destroy or enslave it. At the moment, a world war has broken out due to the actions of one of them, and another has brought a robotic army to try and take over the world for unknown motives. Thats about all I know."
