Shepard and her team gathered back inside the house. The robots hadn't taken too long to defeat, but now they needed to discuss the Eldar's offer.
"So yeah. Basically they can recover the Normandy, but we have to agree never to fight against the Eldar, and we have to be ready to carry out any tasks the Eldar might ask us to do."
"Its bullshit Shepard. The only reason that they'd have for not telling you what kind of task they have in mind is so they can trap us."
"Jack is right, Shepard. Not only that, but we've already seen that not all Eldar will hold back just because we don't want to fight them."
"Yeah, but the Eldar have to understand that the deal is no good if their people try to kill us. And if they're already trying, then obviously we aren't going to hold up our side of the deal."
"I wonder whether the Eldar came to this universe by their own design, or in the same way that we did. If it was not their intention, then this may no longer be an issue once we get back home."
"Yeah! All we have to do is get home, and then those lanky bastards won't be able to do a thing about it."
Shepard thought about everything her crew had said.
"That might work, actually. Its a risk we have to take, we need the Normandy if we're ever going to get home. Ok, I'll tell the Eldar that we accept the deal."
