Draug and the Guardians remained on board the Normandy, providing a temporary crew. The Dark Reapers weapon rested beside him as he worked at a console.

Xanis answered the challenge of Mardek. "Don't insult me Chaos scum. I've walked the path of the warrior many times before I walked the path of the seer." Ending the physcic flames he said "Come O' champion of the gods and face me. Claim me as your prize." He walked towards Mardek, Singing Spear held ready. The Eldar guns had stopped to allow is approach and he stopped and struck the ground with the end of his spear which hummed at the touch of a Phsyker. Inaeun reported in, concealed nearby. Xanis calmly looked out at the Daemons as he waited for an answer.

OOC: Plot? Hell yes. Also, it would be funny to see Joker as a robot, if it didn't involve brainwashing him first.

OOC: I think we should head back to Scotland. I mean, Joe's going to go there, Outis' new character is there and so are a load of Eldar, spud's character and the robots seem to be there too.

One of the communications systems on the Normandy flickered on and picked up a television broadcast.
"This is Jane Valderama with an emergency Channel 5 news update. The situation across the globe is looking more and more bleak by the minute it seems. The source of the recent attack on Cork has been revealed to come from a gigantic silver dome, found on the outskirts of a burnt down forest, and more seem to be cropping up each day. Already we've received reports of these domes cropping up in places across the globe. There's one in Yonkers, which appeared and had the refugees of the New York City nuclear crisis captured. Reports have also come in that there is one near Berlin, another in South Africa, and even one peaking out of the sea at Tokyo. It appears that humanity has a grim future indeed, for if World War III doesn't kill us, these unknown invaders surely will. This has been Jane Valderama with your Doomsday report."

The Normandy swept down over the Ork army, firing hundreds of slugs into their ranks with deadly precision. The majority of the horde was dead in seconds. In the cockpit, EDI spoke.
"Shepard, I have detected an unknown vessel in immediate proximity to our hull, keping pace with us. It is not attempting to communicate, but has not attacked or attempted to board."
"Target it with the GARDIAN system. Don't fire yet though."

Xanis recieved the blow with the head of his Singing Spear and jabbed the free end at Mardek's ribs and spun around slashing with the blade that hummed and whined as it cut the air. He manaed to briefly find his way past the warriors guard and deliver a glancing blow to the shoulder. Unlike the usual power weapons of the Eldar; Singing Spears and Witchblades channeled the physcic energy of the wielder into the strike. The more powerful the physker, the more powerful the weapon. Xanis had been a Warlock for 783 years and held a place on the Seer Council so his impact had great weight as he clashed with the Chaos warrior

OOC: Xanis is going to out and out try to kill Mardek, if he wins the duel hes gonna try and stab him if he loses Inaeun gonna blow Mardeks head off. THe taint can't be purged from those who willingly give themselves to Chaos. You're obviously gonna be alive though, something will come up...

Wufei opened an open channel. "This is Preventer Wufei Chang. Fire upon me, and you'll be slashed out of the sky!"

OOC: The Gundams use "beamed" weapons... As a Mass Effect-fan myself, that'll ignore the Kinetic Barriers. As for the hull..... well, that's debatable...

The Guardian that had been pounced struggled underneath the large animal, unable to bring his Shuriken Catapult to bear. "Get off me, stinking mammal!" The Guardian shouted after his inititial scream of shock. Rakanis warped behind the animal, power blades active and held one to to its throat. "Off the Guardian wolf, our business here is our own." The remaining Guardians surrounded the mammal and raised their weapons.

OOC: The hull armour is upgraded, as are the weapons and shields. Oh, and the Normandy doesn't use lasers, it fires metal slugs propelled by mass accelerators.

"That name means nothing to me. What are you loitering around my ship for?"
