Captain Grant was one of the luck few to, not only survive all that had happened since New York, but had also made it through the short internment by the one called Preginald. He had done his best to lead the few soldiers and many civilians around the base, but he was very glad to be out of there. As he and the rest were teleported he gathered up the soldiers and armed civilians and had them move toward the house in the distance.

The dome's automated defenses and robots take aim at the giant mech. Preginald broadcast over the intercom, "Stand down men, that is an invited guest of mine, to be treated with respect." The robots and defenses returned to an ease. The top of the dome opened up to allow the Granzon inside. "Please come in Mr.Shirakawa." Preginald spoke again over the intercom.

 

[Random berk]

The Normandy appeared overhead, landing outside the house. Shepard heard a familiar voice in her comms set.
"Commander, I'm so happy to have the Normandy back in one piece, I'm not even going to complain about you leaving us siting around in the wilderness for days. Tell me though, how did you manage without a top notch Helmsman all that time?"
"Barely Joker, just barely. Its good to have you back."

"OH! fulll service no i do feel special Shus returns to the Granzon and brings it down into the dome and then exits the mech to await his host

As they headed over, one of the soldiers with him pointed over to a tree with a headstone under it. "Captain look." he said. For some reason, Grant had a bad feeling about the grave. He walked over, being followed over by the others, until he saw the name on the grave. It struck him like a ton of bricks, and he had to fight back tears. 'Come on. No crying. That's not what he would have wanted.' Grant chastised himself. It felt strange, he did not know where the man, William Sherman, had come from, or why he did what he did, but he was eternally grateful. He was certain that he, and many others would be dead right now if not for him.

"Should...should we do the 21 guns sir?" one of the soldiers asked. Grant shook his head. "No...save the ammunition." 'I think that's what he would have said.' he thought.

Preginald approached Shu, flanked by Major Gibbins. "Greetings Mr. Shirakawa. I am Preginald DSington and this is my head of security and personal adviser Major Timothy T. Gibbins. Now if you will follow me to my conference room, I believe we have important matters to discuss." Preginald and Gibbins lead Shu to a large conference room. Preginald takes a seat at the head of the table and Gibbins stands to his right.

OOC: Shu is definitely one for chatting before getting down to business but he doesn't take to much offense if people cut to the chase so you don't have to answer his question

Vincent looked out the house window. "I may be seeing things, but there appears to be a crowd of civilians that were not here before." he said.

"It seems quite impressive, I'm may not entirely know what it is capable of, but I'm sure I wouldn't want to have to face something like it in battle. Anyway, let's get down to brass tacks. What were you intending to speak about with me?"

Shepard looked out.
"I recognise some of them. They're the refugees from Yonkers! Some others who were temporarily allied to our group are with them."

Royce had followed Joe and the others into the house. Things were strangely quiet. "Right, so we're going to stop this Peraginald guy, what do we do first?" he asked as he looked around the room self consciously.

"aaahh, a man of business i see, i find such things trivial but we each accomplish our goals in different ways. Oh and thank you for your compliments on my machine i too hope to avoid having you face Granzon as well. Anyway, I believe we both seek the same end goal; a more peaceful world for everyone and everything, am i correct in this assumption?"

Shepard looked back at the medic.
"Well, he's been setting up massive bases everywhee, so it won't be too hard to find him."

OOC: Good, I was hoping we could get started on finding Preginald soon. Of course, Venerated will need to come back to rescue his Eldar from the brig first.

OOC: Damn, forgot to give Dromaeus's response. Sorry Knife.

"Anyway," Knife says, cutting off the Argonian before he can respond, "We would probable leave, I think everyone went back to Scotland. Well, come on." He walks off towards the park, where Alistairs transport is sitting. They get in, and speed toward Scotland.

"Well once we find him, do you think we can, ya know, talk him down? You all seem to know him better than I do." Royce asked.

"We won't be able to talk him down..." Joe said. "He thinks he's helping everyone by turning them into robots."

" Very good, and i seek to enlighten humanity about the considerable flaws of its character, I have assesed that each of us has a significant problem but one that we can each help the other to solve, for example your machines are truly powerful, an i mean no offense by this, but they are severely outclassed by the Gundams, like wise my Granzon is a monster to those robots but i do not have access to the kind of forces necessary for fighting against the human sized enemies. Were we to....ally with one another however we could neutralize the others problems. you would supply me with the assistance against the smaller enemies and i can act as a Commander on the front-lines for you a right hand of sorts all the while deterring the gundams. What do you say?"
