"Ska-Doosh!" Sev cried out in joy, jumping back up to his feet. He looked at Rugal. Immediately his eyes dimmed and his hand pulled a revolver out of his pocket. The sky turned black and Sev spoke in a dark raspy voice.
"You feelin' lucky punk?" Sev asked, his eye twitching. He pulled the trigger....
And a flag with "BANG!!!" on it popped out. Sev immediately fell to the pavement laughing his arse off. He regained his composure and started eating an apple.

Raz massaged his aching head. Was this the real world, or the mental one? It was hard to tell these days, Cruller had been putting them through the weirdest exercises since he saw that damned 'Inception' movie. He flexed his hand. Everything felt a little too real to just be someone's imagination, but the scene unfolding in front of him called that assumption into question. He pulled the smelling salts out of his back pocket. "Best keep these handy, not sure how long I'm going to want to stick around here." He cast an invisibility field around himself and leaned back to watch the show.
A hole finally appeared in the armour and Swiftrunner set about making it large enough to fit through.

As Swiftrunner pryed apart the armour a shudden jolt from the machine threw him from it. Landing with a growl he knew he had to get away from its fire sprayers and bolted roaring as he did. He had allowed himself to be distracted when he had caught the scent of a magic user, who was probably days away now, but he had there scent and with another roar he left the machine behind. He hoped.
"Nobody home." The wall said. The clown was relieved that it had finally given up in making contact. With the wall out of the way, the clown could finally try and make sense of what was happening. But without any eyes, he knew that his efforts were fruitless.
And so he began to walk off into the distance, trying to escape the madness.

The Martian woke up. It had been unconcious for ten days, travelling through the vast ocean of space between Mars and The Blue Planet. It had taken the Cylinder without permission, and had taken care to immunise itself to the micro-organisms that covered the Earth. Oh yes, The Martian had learned from the attack in 1898! It would not be slain so easily!
