OOC: what's going to happen once we either beat Rugal or Rugal beats us?
OOC: I've given that some thought, because this is why we have been pulled from our respective universes, then once Rugal is beaten existence begins reordering itself, and we return to the exact instance in our universe we left from.
OOC: hmm... or we could connect this one to another RP like it, like Rugal did. he came from the AA universe, so we could move to another... and it looks more like Rugal's going to win anyway.

Well, i was meaning more 'do we start another thread' or 'do we switch villains' etc.

OoC: I'm good with the bakery, I always wanted to have a story where the Pie Lord tried to take over the pastry would and a lone hero with the power of the muffin can stop the Pie Lord. This is entirely from stuff with my friends back in highschool.

ooc = Well, first as a text run, I summon Godzilla (Thank Zepherus for that), hand to hand for a while (Him against everyone), go though forms Omega Rugal and God Rugal, then you use whatever Knife is making on him for the happy ending.
As for the ending, Just let someone be a Villain or make one up as an NPC, then go this stop him/her and so on and don't connect this with AA, I just used that Version of Rugal to jump start the plot.

Rugal saw as the Fallen Angel was hooked up to Power Grid.
"My Lord, Shall we Begin the Test run?"
"Yes, set all portals to active, but without a target, see if this will work."
And with that the portals was set to on and connected to Goenitz.
"Begin Power Test, 3, 2, 1, Begin."
The entire base went dark...
Then the portals began to open one by one as Goenitz screamed in pain.
"Perfect...stop the test..."

Alek looked on as the Joes quickly began working. The base of the project was already forming, it wouldn't be long before they had completed the entire machine. Just then, three Joes came walking into the plant. Alek looked at them, and couldn't believe it. Dragging behind them was his chest. "Where did you find this?!" He yelled, rushing to the chest. One of them spoke up, "It was near the rubble Joe #73 was buried under." Alek couldn't wait, he unlocked the chest and opened it up. There, on top, was the scroll. He couldn't believe it, it hadn't been destroyed. "Thank you." Was all he could say, putting it back in his inner coat pocket. He dashed back to the stormwalker, he had to join the others for the assault on Rugal. Starting the machine up Alek called to the other Joes "When you're finished, take it to the Mishima Building. I've got to go!" And with that he left, sprinting toward the target as fast as the walker would allow.

OOC: We could just reroll characters, start a new thread, keep using this one, have some new villain show up before those who are going back go back, etc. Or go to each character's world and interact with it. Or try to jump ship for the AA thread, integrate with that, change some names, give our characters mustaches.

Doubt I'll continue after the end of this story, or the death of my character, wichever comes first. I've been spending way too much time on this over the week. Certainly I wouldn't be one of the regular players any more. Of course, I've had a third idea foor a back up character who could drop in and out of the story quite easily, so I might use that. An entirely new story would be best I think, though character continuity would be fine if it makes sense.

"Roger!"

"Ok Joes, have we come up with a plan if Rugal decides to use ninja space bunnies from Mars yet!?"

"Um... no"

"Well lets get to it. We need to be prepared for whatever that crazy guys planning, including if he makes some sort of time machine that makes everyday Monday!"

"The FIEND!!"

"I know he must be stopped!"

"But what about the secret project Alek gave us!?" one Joe spoke up.

"If you haven't noticed we have the Joe power to work it out just fine! Now lets get moving, cuz knowing is half the battle!"

"[sub]that makes no sense[/sub]"

Present: The infiltration team arrives at the helicopter:

The elevator dinged as it reached the underground labs. Renlen exited the elevator with GS and following the data that GS had collected, headed for the experimental research labs. There had been multiple logs created within the last few days concerning dimensional portals and their creation. The data hadn't looked optimistic until the last entry which had recorded a success. After that there had been no more reports on portal related sciences, which had seemed strange to Renlen. "If they had made a breakthrough, would they have not continued reseaching this science?" he thought to himself as he came up to the door to the Experimental technologies testing room. Kicking in the glass door, Renlen entered a cavernous room with a single ring shaped device in the centre. Multiple wires and power cords snaked away from it to various edges of the room but a mass clump led to a single control panel situated behind fire proof glass. There was a hole in it, located roughly where a person's head would be. Ignoring the control panel for a moment, Renlen approached the transdimensional gateway and examined it. It was a shambles compared to the transdimensional tunnler he had built in his home dimension. Asking GS to scan the structure and calculate it's integrity and risk factor, Renlen checked out the dimensional distablisers and realised they had been immensely miscalculated. He was surprised that the person who had been testing the machine hadn't simply opened a gate into chaos space and doomed them all. GS finished his analysis and sent a compiled report to Renlen. Giving it a quick run over, it ticked that things were much worse than they seemed. "If Rugal was planning on using a dimensional gateway based off this design than chances are this world and three others would be immediately crushed should anything go wrong. Times the amount of devices by ten and the effect would be three dimensions going nova and causing a chain reaction along five others. Extrapolating from ten devices may lead to the destruction of existence itself. And should anything bigger or more than one man comes through at one time would greatly escalate these risks occuring!" Renlen headed for the control panel. He had decided to risk it and see whether this portal had actually worked. He shut off the dimensional digger properties and hoped they stayed off as a linear portal within this dimension would be more than enough to test the functionality of this gate. Setting the machine to open up a portal randomly in Ireland, Renlen depressed the button and hoped it didn't work. After a minute nothing happened. He was about to sign it off as having failed when the lights dimmed and a portal suddenly ripped open in front of him. He could clearly see an Irish village on the other side. Just then two interdimensional portals opened and out emerged two figures who he couldn't see due to the lights. He was about to shut down the machine when he thought he saw someone running for the portal. Renlen thought the guy was insane, but he wasn't about to risk killing him in the closing of the portal so waited for him to step through before shutting it down.

Phew! Brb gotta eat food

Alek arrived at the Mishima Building. Security out front was fairly lax, he guessed that they knew the others were already there. When the guards saw Alek approaching they immediately opened fire. Thankfully, the new walker was better armored than the last one, so Alek wasn't in as much danger from the barrage. He returned fire, using the main cannon to destroy the group out front. Entering the building in the walker turned out to be easier than he expected. The building was large, spacious, and heavily reinforced. The stormwalker was able to enter the main lobby and continue forward. He needed to get further up in the building to meet up with the others. The elevator wasn't an option, where were the stairs...

Squall was bored out of his mind, which he was slowly losing in this tiny immaculate little village, and he wasn't about to become it's protector like he did that one time. Just then Squall took note of a portal randomly opening nearby."There's something you don't see everyday." Squall decided to investigate in the only way a man who carried a gun-blade and had River Phoenix hair would, he made a mad dash for it and leapt inside."..." The man had an air or disdain, or olness to him as he opened his mouth to speak."I'm guessing this isn't Balamb either, is it?"

And here I thought time compression would be the oddest thing I'd ever experienced.

Reno was twiddling his thumbs when he heard the crashing from below. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!" he yelled, drifting the chopper backwards and looking at the destruction below.
"I know that sound... Alek's stormwalker." Joel growled.
"Right. Damn... I'm going down there." Rude said angrily, grabbing full combat gear, an assault rifle with torch and hooking up a rappel line. He zipped down to the ground, and turned on his earpiece. "Reno, I'm moving in... it's deserted, except for the dead security officers. The elevator... it's moved from the ground floor to U. I'm taking it down..." he said, moving in and calling the elevator. He rode it down, and felt crackling energy buzz around him. "Reno, something is going on. I'm here..."
Rude burst out into the black room, flashing his torch around. He saw the portal, Renlen and another figure...
"Renlen! It's Rude! Someone's here! GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!" he yelled, moving to cover behind the control panels.

Joe looked down at the Stormwalker. He had been overseeing it being constructed, but to see it in action! He was proud at the Joes' craftsmanship, to think they hadn't even been existing in this dimension for a day, and they already could learn how to build something like this.

Renlen immediately shut the linear portal down as soon as the figure stepped through. In addition, it caused the other two dimensional rips to close. The lights had yet to come back on. The fairly insane man, in Renlen's opinion, who appeared to be carrying a sword suddenly asked "I'm guessing this isn't Balamb either, is it?" as one of the other figures stated "This almost tastes better than that soul I had recently." whilst the last figure started forward. It was then he registered Rude shouting "...GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!" and was knocked to the floor as the idiot came barreling into him. He took GS's comment on the situation calmly before thinking "what did I do to deserve this?".

Squall stood firm, but confused in the gloom of this new room before shrugging off a comment about souls."...." Squall had a feeling he was going to either enjoy the next couple of minutes, or regret the extensively."What's the situation here?" he spoke at last switching out Revolver for Lionheart, to provide the faintest source of dim blue light, and also because it was the better awkward Gun-handled sword.

I tapped my knuckles more and more impatiently on the window of the helicopter as Alek, Rude and many of the team returned to the combat zone despite havingalready completed the objective.

"Goddamn it." I tapped Reno on the shoulder. "I'm heading back in there, to see what's happening. Grabbing my MP-5 and connecting to a rappel line, I jumped out of the helicopter, and took the same route from the roof into the building.

OOC: I should have killed Mike off in Africa, and switched to my next character when I had the chance. No need to tink of a reason to rejoin the mission, he'd go in just for the sake of killing a few more people. He'd have a better chance against Swiftrunner too. Ah well.

Running silently through the halls, I killed a few guards, shooting them from corners or cutting their throats, until I reached the main elevator and took it down a few floors.

OOC: Actually, I've just given myself an idea.

This was getting ridiculous. Alek continued to search for the stairs, which was becoming a more difficult task. The building layout was horrible. The corridors all seemed to lead back on themselves or take odd turns to dead ends. How did anyone navigate this place? Frustrated, he shot at the wall in front of him, the hole was considerably smaller than it should have been from a close-range cannon blast. Rugal must have spent a fortune reinforcing the place. There was a slight groan from the other side of the wall. Alek got closer, someone was huddling in the corner. "Don't kill me!" she shouted, frightened. "Where are the stairs!" Alek demanded. "Second hallway on your left!" That was easy, Alek thought, as he picked up the pace.

After stopping on several floors, I finally came out on one where I could hear raised voices, some of which I recognised, Rude and Renlen among them. I started down the corridor towards them, when a label on one of the doorways caught my eye, for some reason. Special Projects: Subject Containment Chambers. Pushing the door open with the barrel of my MP-5, I cautiously slipped inside.
