The hatch opened right in front of Youmu, causing her to lose her balance and fall off the Stormwalker. Rolling backwards as she hit the ground, she saw a panda and another girl running away from the large "zone" where everyone else was and decided it might be a good idea to get a good distance away as well. She started running in a different direction, not knowing how useful either of them would be.
Leaping as the hatch to the machine opened, Swiftrunner sat atop the construct to observe the creature that was emerging.
Amaya grabbed alek by the shoulders. "Stop that noise! the really loud boom you made,, don't do it again." she said, but lost her grip and fell inside, dragging alek down with her.

As the air became filled with noise Swiftrunner dodged away from the machine to see a pair tumble into it as yet more strange things joined the fray. Swiftrunner needed an opening and gazed around for new prey, vulnerable prey.
"Puppetmaster?" Alek asked in English. Whoever or whatever this strange woman was didn't matter, that Darwinist thing was scratching at the upper part of the stormwalker. Nervous Alek pushed by his new companion and got into the command chair. It was time to practice some of his running.
