"Reinforcements required." Micheals said into his radio. Another wave of Model 2s exited from a portal in the smoke and began tossing more tear gas around.
Micheals turned to the man behind him and smacked him in the face with the butt of his rifle, "I know."
As his location was taking heavy fire Micheals attempted to relocate. He tossed a flashbang into Shepard's group to cover his movement. Upon finding a tree branch capable of supporting his weight Micheals climbed into it and waited for a reaction from his targets.

Craig Boone silently observed the scene playing out before him from the crosshairs of his suppressed Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle. He contemplated getting involved as he watched from the bluffs above.

Shepard and her team were disoriented by the flashbang grenade, but quickly recovered and aimed at the windmill again.

"Damn it, where'd he go?"
"There are few hiding spots here. He cannot have gotten far."
"Fan out. I'll check in and around the windmill. Thane, you take that copse of trees over there. Grunt, the bog. Be careful, watch your step."

As Thane entered the copse of trees Micheals began lining up a shot. Thane was wary because he knew he was tracking a sniper so it was difficult for Micheals to get a decent window. Micheals decided a different strategy was needed and began stalking Thane from the branches. For a split second when Thane had his back turned, Micheals leaped down and tried to put Thane in a sleeper hold.

OOC: Sorry I have to leave again. Won't be gone for more than an hour and a half or so this time though.

Thane heard the impact as the robot dropped to the ground and was already beginning to react as Michaels laid hands on him. Driving his elbow pad into what should have been Michaels's solar plexus, he slipped down between the robot's arms with the lightning speed characteristic of the Drell, swept Michaels's legs from under him, and delivered a rock hard palm strike to his jawline as he fell before skipping back, wincing at the pain in his elbow.

OOC: Oh. Thats a pain, I have to get to bed early tonight. Road trip immediately followed by field work tomorrow. And I won't be back til Thursday.

OoC: Ah ha!! I'm finally caught up!!

Joe awoke to gun fire and tear gas. Luckily his space helmet had activated as the gas erupted. Sitting up he saw more robots, but nobody else. Grabbing the green of the grass he was on. Joe swings his staff/sword around before sword-a-pulting away from them.

"Where did everyone GO!!?" Joe shouts.

BEFORE THE RANDOM TRIP TO SCOTLAND

The four Guardians surrounded Alistair still within the physcic band. Liliath had her Executioner ready in case a daemon started to possess the human. Xanis stood over him, hand outstretched deep in concentration as he channeled physcic power through the man. Crackles over energy spat from Alistair and he roared in pain. Xanis tore the corruption from his soul, even if it ripped parts of the untainted soul away as well.

He finished and stood back, nodding to Liliath. "End him." As she drew the great weapon back something grabbed it before she could swing. Xanis looked in awe as a Harliquin stood behind Liliath in her brightly coloured and vibrantly patterned suit. Her mask was one of a twisted smile and sprouting from her head was a blue crest of hair. "Harliquin, what brings you from the corners of the Webway? I admit I did not anticipate the coming of one of your kind." The Harliquin let go of the weapon before walking over to Xanis. "I come to dance Warlock and tell stories of the times of old. I also bring instruction from the Black Library: Alistair cannot die yet." Xanis was confused
"He is a broken vessel now, his fate is sealed." The Harliquin simply glided away from Xanis before saying "If he dies you fail....Seer." and with that she vanished. Xanis pondered this for a moment from within the shroud field generated by the now fixed Webway Gate.

OoC: Ah nothing really, is the Halliquin like a jester? And more importantly Phoenix Joe got captured by Preginald didn't he...

OOC: Jaguar from tommorow on has to get his posts approved by me first. He fucks up and Xanis is going to impale him with his Singing Spear. I've watched him butcher 40k and now Syndicate (Awesome game by the way) and I've had enough. The fates change constantly and so Alistair will probably die once I give him that talking to (Couldn't tonight as was at work)
Zeph a Harliquin is an enigma within an enigma. Eldar are mysterious enough and they don't even no what Harliquins are up to most of the time. They usually travel the webway from craftworld to craftworld retelling the old Eldar myth cycles from before The Fall in play and dance format but they also assist in times of war and great need. The Black Library of Chaos is the single greatest collection of knowledge in creation and it is hidden within a dark corner of the Webway that only the Harliquins know how to get to.

OOC: Meh, enough shit has gone down IRL in he last 24 hours that I don't much care what Jaguar does here. I'll just avoid interacting with his characters for a bit if he starts to go off on a tangent, and let it work itself out. Doing that led to a much more awesome scene anyway (or at least it would have if Drakmorg wasn't so damned busy).

WHEN EVERYONE LEFT

Xanis had recieved communication not long after the Harliquins appearance fro Inaeun detailng the events that had just accured. While he waited for the ranger to return so they could travel as close as they could using the webway the gate flickered nearby again and 7 Guardians stepped out followed by a Shuriken Cannon that was mounted on a grav-support platform which two of the Guardians operated. "It seems Ulthwe had deemed our task worthy of support." He said almost sarcastically. The Guardians gave acknowledgement before falling in with the others. When Inaeun arrived he ordered his growing warhost to enter the webway once again for another gate was relatively close to the coordinates that Inaeun had tracked the group to. "The board is set and the pieces are moving." Xanis said as he stepped into the gate.

OOC: I'm not gonna even bother correcting the horrible mistakes Jaguar made with regards to Syndicate. Miles Kilo is a silent protagonist also I might add. Secondly due to the sporadicness of Preginalds activity I could have small conflict with you guys if you like, a Harliquin would be really intersting to fight I think and when you kill her it won't effect my Eldar too much due to the whole "Meeting ones fate"

Yes, but if we'd gone to, say, Glasgow you could try his skills out on Glaswegians. I would prefer to see that.
