"um. What exactly did he do? Because you need to either get the virus in a cavity Or bloodstream. If he tried that, there's a problem. A big one." bryce rubbed his eyes. "jesus, what hit me? Feels like someone stuck my eye with something. Anyway, you want to go check on the carrier? Its been almost a day now, just sitting there. Freaky."
The Storm spirit bored without anyone to introduce himself to decided to follow the furry midget he battled with yesterday! When Ziggs asked if RinceWind wanted to see something cool He Said "Yes! I want to something "Cool"!
@All: Back... OOoh plot stuff! But now... Bullet's drunk sooo....
Bullet was happily buzzed with her food and beer. Man, just like in the old days... Yeah, just back then. She thought, holding the last bit of beer in her glass. She raised it slightly and said, just barely above a whisper, "[sub]To fallen friends and family...[/sub]"
She downed the last bit and sighed, slouching in her seat.
Rincewind already ran away after Ziggs lit the bombs "I'll watch all the way over there okay!" He said running in a random direction. his magical chest followed him
Rex shakes his head as he follows Bryce back, relieved Caesar hadn't tried to double cross him. "They didn't try that, they made a joke. Guess they took a liking to me."
Wonder why though...
When one find one they see as a kindred spirit... They tend to gravitate towards it....
The Carrier suddenly began expelling streams of smoke from it's sides and began descending through air towards the town. As it did so a humming noise slowly started up followed by a series of metallic screeches as four panels opened in the bottom of the carrier discharging what appeared to be four round objects into the town below's centre.
Eve looked up from her meal at Ze Captain who appeared to be addressing thin air and was about to ask it what it was doing when four large whumps occurred outside. "This can't be good." she mused as she steadily made her way over to the tavern's entrance in order to peak outside at what had arrived.
The purple armoured woman finished with her preparations and watched as the objects descended from the sky. She then waited for the Carrier itself to arrive.
The four large round objects had landed in the centre of town causing huge wells in the sand. The objects themselves began unfurling and stood up to reveal what they really were, steam-powered battle armoured Elite soldiers.
The Elites climbed out of the holes they had created when they had landed whilst occasionally letting out jets of steam with each movement. They scanned amongst the few people who had been brave enough to leave their houses and the few that had decided to return just then for hostiles before one of them activated a speaker. "This town is under Overlordian Jurisdiction and Deadlock. You will comply or be executed. You will submit or be executed. You will be arrested or be executed. You will follow the Overseer's order or be executed. If you do not conform to these orders, you will be executed!" The Elite then shut off his speaker before ensuring the area was clear for the Carrier's arrival.
"oh yeah, he just said that it was a joke. Pretty good one too." Bryce chuckled. "'got my eye on you' indeed. Damn, its weird to have a voice in my head. Eve'll think I've gone bonkers." bryce then watched the Elites arrive. He sighed. "well, so much for a night on the town. Fight or flight? Caesar wants to fight, and I agree with him. Never did like fascist jackboots."
The Doktor immediately got up and worked his was to the castle main gate there he went out in the desert until he reached a sand dune in view of both the ship/town and Castle exit. "The ship is attacking the city no doubt. Waiting only lured the helpless into a false sense of security. Standard terror tactics. It will be interesting to see how the Misplaced ones react. He Froze some of the water on the outside of his eyeballs to create binocs of some sort.
Hearing the sounds in the distance, Balthier turned around to see the carrier deploy several objects that wre next to imposible to identify given the distance. [sub]"Oh? Movement. No doubt not a good sign."[/sub] he said to himself. He drew his rifle in case there would be a attack on the castle once more.
Edgar, who had spent nearly the entire town strategizing with the counceler and had gone to bed only a few hours ago was awakened by the noise the carrier produced. Climbing out of bed and looking out of the window of his chamber, he rubbed his eyes groggily as he watched the carrier decend. After a short time, Edgar realised what was going on and began getting dressed and put on his armour as fast as he could.
Rincewind happened to be running down the street when he came upon the objects. "We can uh totally work not killing me out right" He said thinking running might not be a good idea. Luggage now bared white sycamore tombstone teeth and a large red tongue
