Ratsel tapped her dark blue, nearly black earrings. "These things store data and all I need to do is think about what I want, and it appears. Don't ask me on the specifics, the person that knew all about this is dead."
"I think he is in the castle currently. Though I assume he is too busy to see anyone at the moment." Balthier said to Black, then walked back to Bullet."You look distand-minded. Thinking of your home perhaps?"
Black sat down and started to repair her sword, buffering and smoothing the dents out of it. She hummed slightly to herself while she did her tinkering.
Jensen had not responded to Bullet's last statement, and as he stood frozen for several minutes, his jaw clenched and his entire body rigid, it was clear that he was having another one of his seizures. Suddenly he jerked violently and one hand flew to the implant scar on his forehead as the feedback burst released him from his paralysis. "Argh!" He snarled in pain before forcing himself to lower his hand.
"... I don't have a home to return to after this. Nothing left but revenge." Bullet said, rather distantly. She saw Jensen snarl as she looked over at him in concern. "Are you... Ok?"
[hr] "I would not suggest that. The maker of this weapon developed a failsafe with it and I don't want to lose my way home." She turned back to Royce. "You alright there, sir?"
Balthier was about to inquire what Bullet what her statement meant exactly when he heard Adam's cry of pain. Wheeling around, he asked, "What is the matter?"
"Yeah... yeah, just another feedback burst. When the VTOL went down, I wass thrown against a bulkhead, took a knock to the head. It... must have done something to my biochip. It'll hopefully stop in time." Jensen replied to the others, shaking his head like he'd just emerged from underwater.
Bryce woke, and nearly jumped clear out of bed at his wings. He chuckled a little, before retracting them and, after ripping holes in the back of his duster, pulled it on and walked about, trying to find a way up to the top.
