As soon as the worm jumped up for Jack's ship, Rex lets loose his charged blast and sends a huge ball of red energy soars at the worm. He immediately reverts the gun back to a chain and struggles to catch up with Eve and the others.

the man looked at the giant worms, and stumbled back, "Oh my..." he muttered.
"WHERE THE HELL AM I!?" he shouted, whirling out his staff.
"Forzare!" He shouts, a wall of force rushing towards one of the giant worms. He saw the ship, looked back, and began to make a mad dash for it.
Derpy sees Jack's ship "Oooh! Fireworks! Yay!" Derpy starts flying towards Jack's ship
Sable Brings out an explosive potion and jams it into the cut he made into the worm. "Let's see how well you consume prey when your innards have been demolished!"
Rozalin was very relieved to look back and see that the worms appeared to be preoccupied with some of the others. They may be foolish, but at least they serve as adequate distractions. She continued riffling through her dress as Royce ensured that the two of them continued following Eve.
The military man immediatly ran to catch up with the other vault hunters, but the blue-hiared woman made sure the man was ok. "Look, we have to move, quickly!"
Derpy knocks her hoof on the cockpit of Jack's ship "Hello? Can someone let me in? Ooh, is this another ship/bird/house thing too, like the one Four had? Please can I come in?"
Sable jumps off of his worm onto the other worm, and he starts cutting into its hide.
Eve turned and looked at Balthier to say something when she noticed there didn't appear to be any worms immediately on their trail. She stopped and bent over huffing with a finger held up as she caught her breath.
The worm that had arched at the ship roared as it missed and hit by the missiles then suddenly began screaming as it was by Rex's shot which caused it's entire left side to explode. It landed on the sand and began thrashing in death throes.
The bomb that Sable placed inside the worm's wound exploded and further ruptured it's insides causing it to scream even further and thrash more viciously.
The remaining worm sped for the other worm that had it's inside ruptured and came up beside it in an attempt to crush Tarkus and Sable between them.
The girl frowned as she sat next to the now imposing figure. "Hmm, I was sure that I aged the engine en0ugh to make it crash. Maybe I didn't keep my grip l0ng en0ugh?" She turned to the figure and smiled. "Th0ugh y0u need an 0utlet n0w it seems they were able to deal with the worms after all. H0w ab0ut it?" she asked. The figure just blankly stared as she got up whistling and grasped their arm before disappearing.
Corvo did so. Pressing the button with his left hand so the Mark of the Ousider was visible upon the back of his hand. He looked up, not sure what to expect.
Black continued to drive behind the ship, keeping her sword by her side. I think I have a rather new dislike for worms now.... She thought to herself as she continued to ride.
Seeing eve stop and pause, Balthier did the same. He hunched over, resting his right hand on his knee while still holding hand-bomb in his right. Looking at the worms, he was pleasantly suprised to see two out of the three had been taken down. "Still waiting for an answer." he said to Eve, stuffing the bomb back in one of the pouches.
Rozalin's eyes grew wide as she saw two of the worms taking extensive damage. Royce stopped alongside Eve and caught his breath as well. "Why are we stopping? Have we arrived at the safe haven yet?" She asked Eve.
