"[sub]Thank you for the blanket. Eh![/sub]" Eve said to Royce as she used one hand to pull it up some more whilst the other still gripped her head as she still shivered. She looked at the pill warily for a moment before tentatively taking it with a swallow of water before laying back to see if it had any effect. "[sub]Thank you Royce...Ow! Can I ask you a question?[/sub]" she asked weakly whilst looking up at him.

Before Yukimaru could respond to Yukino and Majeh, she noticed bat-monster-Valvatorez after its screech and started to seem nervous as she covered her ears. She drew a knife and adopted a defensive posture as she backed away from where it had landed. [color=01B7FF]"W-What is that thing, zam?"[/color]

Rozalin's attention was drawn back to the bat-creature as she heard it shriek, disorienting her a bit. After regaining her composure, she looked up at the bat-creature, then back down at the pocket watch. I believe I might take that advice. She thought to herself as she hustled over down the access hatch and back below the deck of the Carrier.

Royce nodded to Eve, putting his canteen away.

 

[Chungus]

"What do I have in mind? I can't say I have a plan here except for hoping it doesn't attack." Balthier said to Majeh, not yet drawing his rifle to appear less aggressive.

 

[Furioso]

Valvatorez continued to stand there. He looked at his hands and flexed them a little before looking back towards his wings and flapping them a few times, causing gusts of wind to hit the deck. He then looked into the sky and opened his mouth, letting loose another cry that was nearly deafening, but he made no move to attack anyone.


Fenrich's smile started to fade, growing impatient

Yukino gets visibly pissed as bat-Val lands with a thud and screeches. She gets back up and puts her hand on her katana's hilt. [color=BB66BB] "Whatever it is, I hope it likes burning..." [/color] She's forced to cover her ears as the bat screeches again. The gusts blow her back a bit and she manages to hang onto the railing of the carrier.

Rex slips his headphones back on as the bat monster cries out, canceling out the noise. [color=008888] Also glad these things haven't broken yet.... [/color] Rex covers his face as the gusts push him back a bit.

Ratsel sighed as she walked back inside the ship and walked into the room where Holly and Black were.

Majeh doesn't seem bothered by the gusts of wind or the screaming.
He shrugs, and quickly punches the air next to him. Jackass... That's what you get for mocking me.
He looks to Balthier. "Well, we can try talking to it..."

Bryce grew his own wings once he reached the carrier and flew up, seeing the strange new creature. He kept his rifle out but down, ready to fire if need be.

"[sub]I'm not sure how to say this without sounding rude. Ow! But you know how you try to help everyone Ah!-nd they all are rude to you when you do, especially Rozalin, then wh-Ai! do you keep tr-Ah!ing?[/sub]" Eve asked sheepishly whilst she began gripping her head again.

The words on the pocket watch's display then changed as Rozalin was alone.

Connection Established. Scan Complete, no additional personal in the area. Receiving Transmission. Encoding... One Moment.

 

[Chungus]

As Valvatorez screeched once more screamed also as he felt like his eardrums were about to pop. He clutched his head when a extremely high-pitched beeping sound rang throughout Balthier's head, drowning out all other sound. Desorientated, Balthier stood shakily on his feet, and was thus easily blown over by the gyst of wind. Anytime you want me to help you not get killed, just say the word. The virus casually remarked. Balthier still didn't acknoledge her, however, and wouldn't have even if he wasn't desorientated by the noise. Getting back to his feet, Balthier shook his head. He didn't hear what Majeh had said.

Yukimaru's ears started to ring as monster-Valvatorez shrieked a second time. The combination of disorienting shrieks and gusts of wind knocked her off balance and sent her tumblin, causing her to smack against the railing. She got back into a kneeling position, still clutching her knife, and, since her ears were still ringing, shouted, [color=01B7FF]"I wonder what it wants, zam?"[/color]

Rozalin found herself sneezing and scratching at her ear yet again. That settles it! I don't even care if I have to be the one to clean this place! A Princess should not be forced to live in such squalor. She moved deeper into the Carrier, eventually finding herself in the hanger. She sat down on a box and waited to see what the pocket watch would do.

"Well...uh, I...Hey, is your head still hurting?" Royce asked Eve, thinking that was more important.

Ratsel took her bed next to Black and Holly as she fell asleep.

Bryce moved closer to the main group, and shouted "well this sucks."

Toad happened to be hiding in the box Rozalin was sitting on "Hey who the hell sat on this box. What if I need to get out. Your blocking all the air too"

Blondie went back to the room where he had left his mule and went to sleep.

After a few more moments of standing around, Valvatorez's movements seemed to become less animalistic, holding his claws up and trying to make hand gestures without any more screeching. Moments after that, he began splitting apart into bats again, converging on the ground and coalescing into a humanoid that looked similar to how Valvatorez had looked previously. But instead of a tattered cape that was constantly deteriorating and reforming he was now wearing a large, multi-layered cloak. His hair was much longer, and he no longer looked thin to the point of emaciation. He was also less pale, but still had the paleness usually associated with vampires.

Awww. I almost wish it had come down to a fight... Majeh walked over to Valvatorez. "What's a vampire doing here?"
