I stare in confusion as I watch the mutant and vampire speak. Not only was the topic enough to addle the mind, what was truly unusual was that the two spoke as if they were trusted allies, rather then holding back the urge to tear at eachother's throats. What madness is this? Another one of Kain's attempts to make me see his "truths"? Hearing the voice of a woman behind me, I turn around to see yet another mutation of sorts. Yet this one had not yet changed much, as she was still recognisably human. These were all things that puzzled me, but what bothered me more was what that woman had said.

"None of you know where you are? How is that?"

Toad saw that he didn't really understand "You know because Edgar Poe was in the gothic era of literature. And vampires come from the gothic era. See it was joke."

Bullet's breathing increased slightly then dropped again, as she remained in her comatose.

Ratsel sighed as she stared into the ceiling in her room with Black and Holly.

Pondering Yukino's question, Valvatorez responded "Hmmm... well in situations like these whoever is in charge of the enemy army almost always has the macguffin that sets everything back to normal, so I predict we will find out once we reach the city."

Looking back at the stranger, Valvatorez said "Beats me, Fenrich here was trying to create a portal to the moon, and we wound up here."

"Yes, and I can't seem to make any other portals either."


When Toad explained what he meant Valvatorez looked surprised "We...do? I was unaware of this."

Fenrich sighed "No my Lord, we've existed long before that period. I beg of you to stop putting such earnest belief in everything your "allies" say."

Bryce finished his enunciations, finishing with a whispered phrase. He turned back to examine the new arrival. "So, who the hell are you?"

Yukino nods a bit. [color=BB66BB] "Good to hear that then, vampire." [/color] She turns toward the new guy and sighs a bit after Toad talks. [color=BB66BB] "I implore you not to listen to that sniveling, smelly mutant... He generally spouts uncouth nonsense." [/color] She puts her hand to her chin for a moment, while her tails whisk back and forth a bit. [color=BB66BB] "As for how I came here, I was sent here via a one-way experimental portal with no prior explanation of this world." [/color]

As Rex's breathing becomes slower, his body starts giving off small sparks.

"Hey I do not snivel!... Or speak nonsense for that matter!" Toad yelled at Yukino

 

[Chungus]

"So... We all arived here via a portal."
I ponder on what this could possibly mean for me when one of the humans I spotted upon ariving here demanded my name. Turning to this person, I reply, "I do not appreciate being spoken to like this, but I will humor you this time. I am Raziel."

 

[FPSfanatic]

"Well Raziel, forgive me for not welcoming you like the dignitary of the queen you probably wanted. Name's Bryce, and welcome to... What were we calling it this week? The expanse? That works." He held out his hands to shake.

Yukino just wears a bit of a blank face as she turns to Toad. [color=BB66BB] "You saying you don't spout nonsense is nonsense. That joke you failed is more than enough proof of that." [/color] Yukino turns toward Raziel with a nod. [color=BB66BB] "Pleasure to meet you, Raziel. You seem a bit thin though... Are you alright?" [/color]

As she hears Bryce, her ears twitch a bit. [color=BB66BB] The expanse...? [/color]

Toad ate another fly around him "Next you'll be saying I should take a bath and brush my teeth. Your the one talking nonsense"
OOC: @Tr Not really sure tell you the truth. He's fairly smart though so maybe

Majeh stood on a stabilizer wing, looking down at Raziel. This is odd... Is he an Envoy? I don't recognize him... Is he here as support? Dammit, I wouldn't need support if I weren't in this weak little body.

He jumps down and begins to approach Raziel.

For a moment, I stared at the man called Bryce, partially because I did not understand why it is he extended his hand, but largely because his attidude did not amuse me. For civility's sake, I wordlessly greeted him regardless. Placing a fist on my chest and bowing slightly, as was the greeting used in Kain's empire. To use it again however; it felt unpleasant. Almost unnatural. Turning back to the woman behind me, I found myself wondering if her question was genuinine or sarcastic.

"I would say the answer to that question is more then appearant." I reply before momentarily pulling down the cloak I had wrapped around my chest and face, revealing two vampiric fangs and lack of a lower jaw.

OoC @trty: The narration is the Legacy of Kain games in done in 1st person. I aim to mimic that.

Majeh approaches Raziel. "Hey, you come here. I want to talk to you." He said trying to get him to follow him to talk in private.

OOC: @Tr He had a very slight learning disorder when he was a kid. He was characterized as dumber in the earlier comics but he's smart enough to learn how machines work and to make them at the very least as he later becomes an engineer in the comics

Yukino squats down a bit and puts her hand to her chin, looking at the two fangs that just hung. She had a bit of a smile on her face. [color=BB66BB] "Interesting, Raziel. Those fangs of yours... where did you acquire them?" Yet another non-human... I'm starting to like this place... [/color]

Rex's sparking intensifies a bit and his breath is nearly undetectable.

Yukimaru was out on the deck, watching the new fellow and those gathered around him from afar.

Rozalin aimlessly wandered around the halls of the Carrier, though she was greatly lacking in the usual poise she tried to carry herself with.
