Rozalin continued to sit about in the rec room. At this point she was mostly feigning interest in reading her medical textbook and was paying more attention to watching the other practice in the new shooting gallery.

@demon: We got a holo-deck. That's about it.

Rex pauses for a moment and shakes his head. [color=008888] "Those boosters I use are powered by my electricity, I can't use them long enough to sustain flight like you can.." [/color] He then returns to his practice. [color=008888] He's right... but that sniveling little kid couldn't possibly have... [/color]

Yukino looks toward Majeh and smiles. [color=BB66BB] "Yes, it was. My sword amplifies my chi's power by quite a lot." [/color] She leans in a little closer to him. [color=BB66BB] "What's this about an onslaught? I'd like something fun to do." [/color]

At least people aren't too friendly around here. Blondie thought, enjoying the fact that not many people tried to talk to him. He too was watching people in the VR room, carefully trying to get a feeling for their abilities.

"Uh...I'm pretty sure it was a robot that killed Balithar." Royce said.

I had spent the night standing in the open space ofthis peculiar construct. From time to time, I caught myself wondering how it is this thing remains aloft. For a moment, I had thought it flew by the manipulation of hot air, like the burst the several vents expel from time to time, but this theory was quickly dispelled, as mere air couldn't possibly be used to keep afloat solid metal.
Walking to the edge of the platform, I looked over the railing and spotted a man resembling a human hanging by his wrists. His hands were blackened, as the bloodflow had been cut off from hanging for a prolonged period of time. Judging by his withered skin, I would also say he was severely dehydrated. Cruelty, it would seem, was not alien to these lands.
Looking down, I spotted a lush forest, the likes I haven't seen in many a age. The sight captivated me, as memories took me back to a time when Nosgoth had yet to fall into decay.

Yukimaru raised an eyebrow at Royce, then shook her head. [color=01B7FF]"That's not the point, zam! If she used some...robot Whatever those are, knowing full well that it could kill someone, then she clearly isn't afraid of killing any of us to get her way, zam. And I for one would prefer to cut down on how many options she has for doing that, zam."[/color]

Royce just nodded.

 

[Saltyk]

"So it was something like this, then?" Majeh says holding up two fingers as they seem to ignite in flame and then quickly sweeps his arm towards a dummy in the back ground. As the chi hits the dummy, it breaks in half with a brilliant explosion.
"Sounds like a useful weapon, though." He says. "And it seems our friend Jensen here is going to set up some sort of training exercise. I really hope he has something interesting. I so rarely get a good challenge."

"Ah dude, that sucks." Bryce quickly changed the subject. "So, what's home like?"

Rex stops again and looks toward Bryce with a raised eyebrow. [color=008888] "What brought that up, cowboy?" [/color]

Yukino's ears perk up and her eyes sparkle as the dummy explodes. [color=BB66BB] "Exquisite power, Majeh.... I'd actually have to put in some effort to create that sort of effect. And yes, this sword is quite useful to me." [/color] She tilts her head a bit. [color=BB66BB] "Jen... sen? Who would that be?" [/color]

Blondie decided to have a seat and do some weapon maintenance, taking his gun apart and cleaning it.

Yukimaru sat down in front of the cell and kept an eye on the prisoner.

Rozalin, getting bored of reading since she had reached a particular, picture-heavy section of her medical textbook, decided to do something else. She shut the book and looked around, eventually noticing Blondie. "Hmm? What are you doing there?" She asked.

 

[FPSfanatic]

"Well, it sounds crazy, with fox girls and demons and all sorts of insane crap. But you seem pretty normal, despite it all. Call it shopping for real estate."

 

[Saltyk]

"That wasn't anything, really... I once used it to get rid of an annoying spy." Majeh replies, with a great big smile. He really did enjoy praise.
"Jensen was the guy in the black coat that was here a minute ago." he said, looking around for Jensen. He shrugs when he doesn't see him.
"Anyway... Can I see that sword?"

OoC: @Dot: If she hands it to him, can you let me know if there should be anything he should notice about it?

"Cleaning." Blondie replied.

Valvatorez and Fenrich continued to look over the railing

"Cleaning your weapon?...How often is one supposed to do that again?" Rozalin asked Blondie, trying and failing to hide the fact that she knew almost nothing about firearms.

"...Every so often." Blondie replied as he finished up.

OoC: @Salt: He should notice the glowing red edge of the blade and a faint humming immediately. If he happens to rub the black part of the blade, he should notice that it smells like blood. If he has good hearing, he'll hear that the humming is actually a collection of ghostly moans.

Yukino thinks for a bit, then slowly unsheathes it and hands it to Majeh. [color=BB66BB] "Please do be careful with it. It's very important to me." [/color]

Rex chuckles a bit. [color=008888] "Can't blame you for being curious about that, I guess..." [/color] He scratches his head a bit. However, it so happened that gods and goddesses existed and one especially powerful one happened to be near the planet once everything went to shit. She used her powers to rewind the damage humans had done... However, she used way too much and humans gained the power to use magic along with science, magical beings and half-breeds came to be, and the entire balance of the world was shifted." [/color] He shrugs. [color=008888] "They call that event the Rebirth and restarted the count of years. By the time I left to come to this dimension, it was around 1623 AR (After Rebirth)." [/color] He looks toward Bryce. [color=008888] "What about you, cowboy?" [/color]

After some time had past, I seize looking down at the forest below. A full day had past, and I hadn't seen hide or hair from Kain. As amazing a feat of engineering this flloating construct was, it moved agonisingly slow. It would almost certainly take several more days before it would reach its destination. For this reason, I found myself wondering if I had not best start looking for Kain on my own once more. Turning around, I gaze at the induviduals that had assembled in the open space and watched them go about their business with mild interest. It was curious, as this marked the first time I had been close enough to humans to observe their behaviour, or even wished to do so. To think I would have thought of them as little more then sustenance at one point.

"Oh." Well that doesn't tell me anything useful... Rozalin simply replied to Blondie. Getting bored again, she left the rec room and made her way to the deck, wishing to get some fresh air.
