As I dispatched one of the imitations, I witnessed a soul leaving its wooden body. What were these creatures, that they are made of little more then liveless puppets, yet seemed to have a soul? I hadn't the time to ponder these questions, however. As I saw two more of the imitation heading my way. Although their weapon had short reach, their movements were erratic and thus hard to predict. Not taking any chances, I raised the Soul Reaver to the imitation on the left and fired a burst of telekinetic energy, knocking the assailant back a great deal, considdering their light frames. Now turning my attention to the remaining imitation, I waited for it to draw near before jumping to the side, onto the railing, then leaping towards the imitation, thrusting the Soul Reaver downwards towards its midsection.
